White Wolf lore is beyond terrible, with the event that lead to everything starting off being the absolute joke that is black Anarchs (read: Brujah) being beaten up by WASP Toreadors solely because of skin color. I'm sure it wasn't because the Brujah fucked around and found out, no sir.

Imagine being a brujah and losing a fight to a toreador, that's like Conan taken down by philosophytube.

The problem with the Anarchs is that they can splinter off into their own sub groups too easily and get out of their own control. Its how we got the Soviet vampires.

Thats something that they dont mention to you

Also has anyone heard of anyone taking the bait regarding Paradox opening up the IP for people to make their own “official games”?

Its best to do your own IP at this point.
So... I guess I am just gonna play Bloodlines again since this is never coming out in a worthwhile form.

Redundant at this point but awww, dont open it, 'kay?

Its not the clan that matters, its what you do with it. The Toreadors may not be the most "brute" and "physically threatening" but that doesnt make them any less dangerous than any other clan.

It looks like they are pulling a Bethesda and cutting down on the clans for "stream lining."

If you want to play gangrel, nosferatu, or one the other dozen clans from the tabletop, then fuck you. I guess they'll only cut the two clans from bloodlines 1 if they ever release the game. They're saying 1 more year but they've been saying that for the last 5 years.

Not gonna lie, I'm actually amazed this game is still apparently in active development. I thought, with how it's basically been radio silence since Paradox shitcanned the first studio - still funny to me - that they'd silently cancelled the game and were just going to tank any losses.

I have no hope in this being good, but I'm pleasantly surprised to see there's any news at all about VTMB2. Let's see how long that feeling lasts.

They've got top men working on it
who?

Just read the article it states nothing new it's just you're typical cookie cutter fluff piece with a quick blurb stating we don't know when it's coming out but hey look here's some four year old trailers!

It's dumb but if they are using V5 as a base Gangrel and Nosferatu splitted away from the Camarilla and went either neutral (Nosferatu) or Anarch (Gangrel) (also most of the Brujah left for the Anarchs meanwhile Banu Haqim/Assamites and half of Lasombra and all their leadership went to the Camarilla) (the Anarchs also have whole clans in it too now and the clanless:

VtM has to be one of the most mismanaged properties in existence. Pour resources into an RPG people want? No give 'em a battle royale or Swansong. I know people have at least tried the battle royale but I haven't talked to a single person who has legitimately played Swansong. Nosferatu not being in their game makes me not want to play it. I want to be a nasty little gremlin slinking through the sewers and going booga-booga at the bloodbags topside. I don't want to be a pretty vampire or some Italian faggot.

Can't let the troons they're targeting as a demographic to play as their real selves.

reportedly, the battle royale isnt terrible. and you get masquerade violations if youre caught doing vampire powers in public, which is an interesting design choice. also i have swansong, i played a little bit of it, but never got around to finishing it due to my ability to procrastinate to the max and adding it to my extremely large game backlog i already have

I've played it and it doesn't matter at all. There's designated zones which are dangerous regardless if you're using powers or not, they shoot you on sight. These are few and far between and the rest of the city is static and has nothing going on.

Yeah pretty much the same shit they've been saying since 2019. I thought the lack of clan choices was interesting. Kind of makes you wonder how they might gut an already simple character sheet and other game mechanics. Doesn't really bode well if it ever does release. At least I might be able to give my transpire a big honkin girl cock.

I did play the first game recently and I have to say I love it.

Its a classic, its surprisingly how it held up over the years and its a perfect time capsule of the early 2000's that really makes you feel like coming back to that time where the Matrix influence was everywhere. Better than we have nowadays, thats for real.

Hey, we got Night Road, right? I know it's kinda like getting a discounted, slightly stale cupcake instead of a birthday cake, but it still tasted alright.

There have been 3 mores from the same people:
Out for Blood (PC can be a Hunter for the Whole Game but becoming a Vampire is possible later in, i found it inferior to Night Road in term of pacing) https://www.choiceofgames.com/vampire-the-masquerade/out-for-blood/ (might have dlc?)
Parliament of Knives (Have not tried it but i know it is set in Ottawa, You can play a Ventrue, Nosferatu or Toreador and seems to be more politics related from first impression) https://www.choiceofgames.com/vampire-the-masquerade/parliament-of-knives/
Sins of the Sires (Set in Athens, Greece and among other things finding your progenitor is a goal here, Clan Tremere, Ventrue, Malkavian, Banu Haqim, or thin-blooded (almost certain there was dlc (as dlc for more clans to play), can be Camarilla, join the Anarchs or choose to take your own path) https://www.choiceofgames.com/vampire-the-masquerade/sins-of-the-sires/ (tried it and seemed at least ok from what i played)
