I hope this game flops badly when it does come out and that it can also kill the shitty V5 setting with it as well, tbh.
There, I said it.

Paradox is just a publisher, they own the IP and gave it to some chucklefucks who have never made an RPG before knowing full well the game is going to sell and be anticipated on the merit of it being Bloodlines sequel, they got Mitsoda on board (probably to give it some credence that one of the original guys were involved considering him and his fingerless sperg gloves were front in center of the game's marketing) just to replace him with the umpteenth narrative lead.Paradox knows jackshit about making an action RPG in the vein of oh I suppose Dishonored or Deus Ex, their wheelhouse is rts and city builders.
It can't die. It's doomed to live an eternal cursed existence. Neither alive or dead. Hated and loved.
They literally will never let it die off. Paradox bought the IP, and they are going to force through the second game no matter how much money they burn, how many builds they throw away completely, and no matter how many companies they have to go through to try and make it at least competent... at least until it reaches a financial breaking point.
lol, it's never coming outOne of my friends is so Stockholm'd that he thinks this will be good. Godspeed.
I'd rather they just sue Paradox for sabotaging the project, to be honest. Given how much of a clusterfuck it's been I'd believe it was.i'm just hoping the shareholders are tired of the sunk cost and force the studio to shart out a big stinky abortion so we can witness another melty over video gaming in 2023.
I was kind of hoping they were going to let either Inxile or Obisdian make it. Sure Obisdian isn't what it once was but like Inxile it still has some of the original guys from the first VTMB working there."From the studio that brought you Dear Esther..."
Yeah, I don't have high hopes.
I am expecting lots of walking, with the occasional option for first-person combat and some self-indulgent story. The Chinese Room
