Super Mario Bros Wonder - furrybait

Okay so I went ahead and beat the game. Didn't 100% because I missed a single coin in the last special level. My TLDR is that I quite enjoyed it. I don't think it's perfect but it would be absolutely worth of being called Super Mario Bros. 5. Some of my random thoughts on the game:

  • I hate this stupid caterpillar faggot. No I will not change my badge.
  • I think the game had perfect length and pretty good difficulty, if on the easy side a bit. I only ever had trouble on 5 star levels and that's on when getting the coins.
  • I only ever used the glide cap and the dolphin kick badge for water levels. I'm happy they added the badge challenges so I can actually use them.
  • Whoever designs boss battles should commit Sudoku. I don't remember the last time a Mario game had a boss battle that was either good or not milked to hell.
  • I still hate the elephant power up. Bubble and drill forms are great but elephant form genuinely feels like furry bait. I would've brought FLUDD back for the water spurts and even give you a hover ability.
  • The flowers weren't as annoying as i thought they would be but I hated the English voice. Immediately changed it to Japanese.

Is the new Mario voice actor really a pedo?
His previous role was Genshin Impact and he's obviously a Muslim. He also resides in LA, so all the pedo symptoms are there.
But more importantly he's a blogposter on Twitter. Is a lolcow thread on this guy imminent?

The saddest part about Martinet leaving is that his last role will be the nubisoft Mario + Rabbids sequel. Nintendo has like a bazillion voice recordings from him anyway. Do they really need a new guy for Mario to say "Wowzee"?

Game is fun even if relatively easy for the most part, level design is top-tier. The talking flowers ended up to be endearing, though I always use JP voices by default.

Dude is actually pretty chill on the twitter account I've seen from another thread here. He's only talking about related hobbies, virtually zero participation in internet drama/debates and his online activity is rather low. Heard he's also married too. His profile makes him at least more upstanding and professional than what I usually hear about american VAs.

Probably because he's holding on his VA career for dear life. I doubt he'll even use Twitter now that Nintendo signed him on. Everything about this guy tells me he's the corporate good boy that knows how to obey. However I believe that he will eventually get too comfortable and do something really stupid. After all he is an avid anime fan that list his pronouns on his profile.

I had to switch to Toad for the first time in a Mario game because hearing Mr. Afghani say "Wowie zowie" made me want to kill myself. I could feel the soylent oozing its way into my ears every time Mario opened his mouth.

Switching to Japanese might actually be better than muting the soy flower. Thank you.

This dude is horrible at acting and every Gayshit Impact “actor” has an awful voice.
It's called Gaychink Impact, but Gayshit Impact is an acceptable alternative.

Playing the characters by whether you like their voices is a must.

Out of all the human characters there are only two good voices, Luigi and Daisy. I don't care if Daisy's VA is a tranny, tomboy voices are a dime a dozen. Mario sounds like a skinwalker and Peach sounds.. Lethargic? It's hard to pinpoint but listening to her makes me uncomfortable.

But that series is great and that game in particular is a lot of fun; and it is a cool direction for Mario that was always joked about or considered "academically" but never really attempted.

How do you give Mario a gun? Great games!

Double posting fuck you.

Also surely others out there recognize that Martinet is simply retired and the company is taking care of their man for decades of good work and brand enthusiasm. He was done, it was an appropriate time, the executives cooked up a new job position that offers light hours and prestiege (plus he presumably gets to stay on payroll!!) and the new guy can step into the open position. Martinet can show up at a few events per year on Nintendo's dime and see the world and be around his fans into his twilight. What more of a gift could you ask for from a employer that worked with you for most of your life? That's a great retirement package.

Not to keep going after your posts @The Pulverizer, but calling him a "corporate good boy that knows how to obey" I think has the equation backwards and is looking at the situation with too cynical of an approach. Even in our shitty world there are still examples of old fashioned courtesy, respect and loyalty.

No one wants whaoo gramps to work himself to death, people are disgusted that his replacement is a soy-saturated shitskin who cannot act. Looking at his picture and knowing he's worked on genshin I am dead certain he's a kid fucker.

I think the new VA for Mario did a good job. He does need to work a little more on his Luigi. Concerning how Waluigi will end up as his Wario isn't too impressive from what I have heard so far.

The new VA for Daisy also did a good job.

As for the game - definitely superior to the NSMB series and I appreciate that Mario Maker level design influenced some levels.

I'm curious to see how they will implement this game's Wonder mechanics in Mario Maker 3 and what tools people would have access to in terms of designing levels. Considering that they also brought back some elements from the SNES Mario games such as the ability to kick a shell/Pow Block upwards which was missing from the NSMB games, I'd like to see them reintroduce power ups such as the Feather from SMW into the potential Wonder style in Mario Maker 3 among others.

I finished the game today. I got all seeds and beat all levels, except for the Final-Final Trial, which requires you to get all seeds, all coins, and the top of all flag poles to unlock. I just can't be fucked to go back and get all coins and flagpoles. I'd love to try a harder level, cause that what the game lacks the most. There are only a few actually challenging levels, even the majority of the levels in the "special world" are quite easy.

The new world and characters are generic as fuck, I don't think anyone will remember or care about the prince or their bootleg toads by the next game, but the enemies were quite charming, I haven played all 2d Mario games, so I can't tell which enemies are new, but most of them were cool. I specially liked the dog with the big mouth.
Bowser in this was boring as fuck as well. He had one decent fight and then it was over. I don't think castle bowser will become as memorable as Tophat Wedding Bowser from Odyssey, or Giant Evil Bowser from Bowser's Fury.

I really enjoyed the game, all the levels are creative in some way, they never bored me, even though I get bored quite easily when the game isn't offering a challenge. They feel like a theme park ride, simple and easy fun.
If they make a sequel or DLC, I'll be back for more.

He is a Muslim that lives in LA and voiced a Genshin Impact character. I have a God-given right to be cynical when met with these conditions.

Is this hypothetical or it's seriously a tranny?

The most concerning thing is the pronouns in bio, always the reddest of flags.
