Have you seen Vivo? Gotta echo this. All of mankind's worst deeds are reciprocal, and there's an infinitely long line of "but they did it first" precedents to respond to.

While it's not stictly uncalled-for to meet them on that level, doing so gives up the moral high-ground. As soon as you fall to the level of the people you criticize, you sort of waive your moral justification in doing so.

Too lazy to look it up but I remember hearing of a similar case where Nintendo garnished wages from someone to get their settlement. Of course this guy would never make the settlement amount of money in his entire life, so the wage garnishment was practically eternal.
