At this point if I were a Kingdom Hearts YouTuber I'd just start having fun with it and put out videos like:

"TOOK OUT 2ND MORTGAGE ON HOME B/C NO KINGDOM HEARTS NEWS"

"MISSING LINK LIVES UP TO NAMESAKE"

Or "HUNT FOR MISSING LINK" where I wander around the woods for 15 minutes like a Big Foot hunter looking for Kingdom Hearts Missing Link. Thumbnail would be Bigfoot photos.

"FEEDING MY KIDS RAMEN B/C NO KINGDOM HEARTS NEWS" No little Jimmy...this is dinner now. BECAUSE DADDY NOMURA WONT FEED US!!!

Maybe over time just make it worse.

Kingdom hearts youtubers still a thing? Like everything has been dissected and explain so doing new content lore wise would be a waste of time at this moment. I dread the moment KH4 releases and every kingdom hearts youtuber comes out of the woodwork and makes like 3 videos a day explaining shit.

Ugh. They are almost all shit. The one "ok" guy is night sky but I just don't care for the culture in general when I can just look up details online.

Despite this i think haley is a chill dood, just got fucked over by the fires. Sora hating the jews just made Sora the best character in Kingdom Hearts.

Nomura, this is your chance. Make a new keychain shaped like a swastika and call it "The Peacekeeper". Give it a Boost to Fire Based attacks and say nothing. If anyone asks, just say it's the Buddhist one. You'd be my favorite video game developer of all time if you did this.

Under a description it can just read "Inspired by Haley Joel Osment".

The best we can hope for at this point is a nice shiny red lightsaber keyblade.
 
I'm kind of glad Missing Link is dead, no more hiding story behind mobile games.
Dark road had a great story and was wasted on a mobile game that was a failure. If you're going to put plot relevant stuff in side content, and can't afford to make full fledged games, then make more movies like Back Cover or toss everything into light novels. The people actually playing the games don't give a shit about the story and the lore, they just like the gameplay of the main title games. Square is too deep in the shitter to put their attention into side content, they should make KH4 a good game and not do anything to turn fans against the series.

I mean one of the core appeals of the series at this point is how obtuse and convoluted the story is. Like at the end of the day its just a plot of good vs evil but those who follow it they must get entertainment putting together all the puzzle pieces of the different mediums. They're not doing it for the story but instead for that fun.

If the game series was stuck to one system, sure.

But the fact that you had to go through PS2 > GBA > PS2 > DS > PSP > 3DS > PS4 > Switch (plus other shit like mobile and fucking orchestra concert) to get the full story on wtf is going on is just mentally and financially exhausting. People were hoping KH3 would just put a period on everything. That's why they freaked the fuck out when Sora Thanos'd at the end. Now we're stuck at yet ANOTHER cliffhanger because Kari's DDR rip-off only game the story a slight nudge with its finger rather than the heavy push it really needs.
