I'm gonna say it:

I do like it, but I think that they feel too overwhelming for the screen.

I would have used them as a basis for a bit lighter version of those same armors, though. There is nothing wrong with making some changes to adapt to a medium, as long as the core remains.

I find it pretty suspicious that this shit entered production right around the same time that TikTok musical for homos was blowing up.
I don't because I've read back in 2020 that there are new movies about Greek mythology and even the Bible are planned. I'd say it's a coincidence. However there might be a connection between the creation of Epic: The Musical and the success of the video game Hades in 2019.

It's a natural cycle. We had some sword and sandal stuff around the time of Troy.

Do you think it will have the really old dog in the movie?
Yes, but they will make it a pitbull. And instead of just recognizing Odysseus and dying, the dog will probably get killed by one of the suitors in a bloody fight scene, during which some limbs are severed.

I want to know, but at the same time, I dont... please, explain...
There was an audio only musical of the odyssey made that used tiktok for auditions. Parts of it were good, but they used a black actress for calypso so in all the fanart of the characters hey were drawing her as a nigger. My money is that the movie will also make capypso a niggress for the same reason.

They also racebent aeolous iirc.

I didn't know it was possible to make that dog's fate worse but you did 😞

I've gotten so good at ignoring pop culture I only just now learned about this,

what is this Marvel-looking, edgy-dull plastic bullshit?

I'll never get proper greekmythkino, will I?

Apparently Travis Scott is going to be in this.
To be who, exactly?

If you tell me they cast a black actor to be some random African captain of some ship they find in some added scene and the character is somehow sympathetic, I guess that wouldn't be that bad... it's a good way to do the requirements of having diverse casts.

Instead, they cast them as Helen of Troy or Achilles.

Remind me, how many of the main cast are actual Greeks? Or at least, Meds?
