i tought the fury was harder.
Fury was harder than I remember, but he only took two tries.
The rest of the bosses apart from the boss were easy.
It was with the CQC stuff that took me a while to master in her fight.

Oh, he's not oblivious to them. He just doesn't give a fuck about them. Mission first, sex after. Don't forget all of the first-person views that center on her body, especially when Big Boss and she first meet. Surprised she didn't tell him that her eyes were up there with how locked on her knockers he was.
In the codec SAVE conversation where Zero spergs about 007, Snake replies "I know..." when told about her advances and Zero reminds him numerous times that she is also a spy, be careful trusting her. That conversation IMO makes it clear Snake is moreso suspicious than autistic about her seduction, and it turns out he was right to be, but unfortunately another snake got the better of him in the end.

Eidt: On the topic of bosses, the Pain lived up to his name. The bullet drop and the tendency to miss to the side when using the over shoulder aim made it a slog. (I forgot about using smoke grenades, so it was M37 spamming to get rid of his bee armour). Died once to the Fear because I seriously underestimated how much damage he does on extreme. For some reason my mk22 shots just weren't damaging him after a certain point, but poisoned food and melee did the trick. The End i actually forgot the route to sneak up on him right at the start so he got the drop on me plenty, but once you get up close behind him and then use the directional mic to track him scurrying away, he becomes the hunted.

Just met Eva in the mountains. A lot going on IRL so it's taking a while, and when I do play I'm going slow as molasses because I've actually never beaten the game with 0 alerts or on any difficulty above normal. Still having a blast, it's a good remake, small issues aside.

I really hope we get some kind of news on Master Collection Vol2 as well. We've waited long enough.

in a video about the silent hill 2 remake this guy said he skips every cutscene while he's playing through a game and then watches all of them together on youtube when he beats it while also complaining that video game stories aren't good, so you shouldn't take anything he says seriously in the slightest.
Yeah, he's very much an arcadefag and only really cares about the gameplay, but IIRC he said Silent Hill 2 was an exception because of how good the story was.

It'd either be that or set between 2 and 4. I've mentioned this idea before, if Konami's remakes are successful and they actually end up wanting to make a Metal Gear Solid 6, I believe it would be either an attempt to cash in on Solid Snake/Otacon nostalgia, or doing another real Big Boss story post-MGSV
They should just do a separate continuity. Keep the timeline up to MGS2, jettison all the dumb shit like Snake getting old prematurely and everything from Peace Walker on.

I always figured they said that because Snake looked rough in his 40s or something.
Old lore was that Snake became a horrible alcoholic after MG and MG2, so between that and the chain smoking I'd agree there was plenty of an explanation for why Campbell and Fox would mention how bad he was aging.

Buuuuut I didn't hate the idea that he was programmed with Werner Syndrome either. It was one of those possible retcons that actually worked retroactively IMO.

Someone can look on the Document of MGS2 if they own it (I don't anymore) but I think his accelerated aging or there being a "death date" for him coded in was actually mentioned in the MGS2 script directly. But I could be wrong too I haven't read it in 20 years at this point.

However, I would take a port of MGS4 to any other platform so it is not just stuck on the ps3!
At this point it's all but confirmed to be happening.

Also recall that Konami had a working Xbox 360 build of MGS4 back in the day, and that system's architecture is relatively similar to regular computer's, which breaks the whole "PS3 cell processor means impossible to port" myth. The main problem was that the game took up a comical amount of discs because it was so big.

The super aging actually makes a lot of sense tbh, if you're creating a super soldier clone army you kinda need to get them battle ready as quickly as possible. What happens after they hit their physical peak isn't a problem because they'll either die on the battlefield or survive and be dead within 10 years. Who really cares, just have a dozen clones ready for the next conflict in 5 years.

No problem. Dave Snake starts out as Old Snake, rescues a scientist or secures some data and gets some nanomachine injection or reprogramming early on for uhhhh telomere lengthening therapy, yeah! Now he's doing great.

Maybe he keeps a snazzy grey hair streak so people can differentiate Alt-Canon Hot Dad Snake from all the other BB clones, timeline snapshots and alternative universe Snake iterations, though.

Old Snake was a sad sack. Frankestein Big Boss was cooler.
If everyone would just stop dying or killing themselves for five seconds, they could have run a few ops as partners and learned a little about family along the way.

The last thing your neglected alcoholic PTSD veterans need is nanomachines. No town would be safe. The advanced aging is for public safety.

Id combine the idea of a solid snake -otacon game with the one of another big boss game. Either have a parallel storyline going on where snake deals with the sins of the father or have snake get captured and have a show and tell thing going on on the events of MG1-2. You could have a new guy fucked by big boss get snake to tell him how he "killed" him and have a bunch of different flashback narratives going on.

Heck you could do a mini tie into metal gear rising at the end and have a playable segment of Raiden like they did with the dream segment in the mgs3 remake.

Big Boss' Child Soldier Recruitment Simulator and if it sells well, the sequel is teenage Solidus troop management but all your troops are like 9 and you have to keep them a certain degree of traumatized for max efficacy.

eta: Big Boss' How to Win Friends and Influence People. Networking and Ass-Kicking with Big Boss.
I would have paid good money for a solidus game, but the voice actor died a while back sadly. Dude was S tier.
