So do we have any idea how good/bad the film did in theaters yet? Can’t be bothered to see these movies anymore, but I won’t lie I get some joy out of knowing how badly things are going lol. Or was the Deadpool movie enough to bring the crowds back for at least one more movie?
Usually the reliable numbers don't start coming in until mid-week. So far basically everyone seems to agree it's on track to hit the 95-100mil mark. That's not catastrophic flop territory ala The Marvels or the Eternals, but still in likely-gonna-lose a-shit-ton-overall ala Antman 3, which did similar opening numbers. As @el bandito loco says the real issue is this is likely to have a massive second week drop off. While the film is not as egregiously bad as some of it's predecessors were, it's also not great. The general review consensus of it is so-so. Imo, it's likely the vast majority of people who want to see it at the cinema still will have, and the rest will wait for it to show up on Disney+ in a month or two.

Considering the amount of money wasted on reshoots and them marketing on top of the theater cuts. I don’t think 200 mill or even 500 million will be enough lol.
The long accepted rule of thumb is that to cover all the non production costs (marketing, interest on financing, theater cuts, residuals etc) you basically double the production budget. That rule however was coined long before the era of regular 200mil+ budgets. At a certain point I figure marketing (which is by far the main non production cost) has diminishing returns so there's probably a cap, but I also believe that they're cooking the books even harder on budgets (see this film and it's laughable claim of only costing 190mil despite re-shoots so extensive they literally introduced new characters) so the 2x rule still seems reasonable as a yardstick.

Personally I think this thing probably needs at least $500mil, maybe even closer to 600 to break even, and I think it'll be lucky to break 350-400 at the box office, so the question then is does this somehow bring 100-200mil value to streaming/Disney+, and I don't see it. I think it'll have surprisingly decent enough streaming numbers as a lot of people who didn't want to shell out for the cinema still wanna watch it, but I doubt many are going out of their way to get Disney+ because of it.

So the team would basically have to be reformed, but by whom?
They make a whole big deal out of having Ross and Bucky ask Captain Falcon to do it for Steve which is retarded because like @That Chris Guy pointed out it's basically been a whole shitty show plus this movie just to get back to where we were at the end of Endgame.
Falcon [...] sympathises with terrorist assholes who feel entitled to property that was never theirs.
Sounds pretty American to me.
They have had a Really bad problem of introducing new heros and powers.
Since endgame they've introduced Yelena, Red Guardian, Taskmaster, Shang Chi, eleven Eternals, America Chavez, Valkyrie, Thor (Jane Foster), Black Panther (Shuri), Ironheart, Namor, Stature, Adam Warlock, Sabra, Isaiah Bradley, US Agent, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Echo, Moon Knight, Ms Marvel (Kamala Khan), She Hulk, Titania, Mr Immortal apparently, Skaar, and teased Black Knight, Phyla Vell, Hercules, Clea Strange, Wiccan, and Speed. It's not that they aren't trying to introduce new heroes / antiheroes, they just keep picking the worst fucking ones or otherwise finding ways to fuck it up.

Conversely, they've canonically acknowledged Deadpool, Wolverine, X-23, Gambit, Beast, Colossus, Shatterstar, Xavier, Blade, Psylocke, Callisto, Daredevil, and the Fantastic Four, all of whom are extremely beloved characters, and also Elektra. Literally all they have to do to save their money machine is use the characters we've already shown them we like, instead of trying to tell us what we ought to like.
The funniest conversation I ever had with someone about something like this was a mutual friend of mine was asking me why I don't like the new Spiderman movies much around the time of the mysterio one because someone told him I hated it. I went on my usual schpiel about how Spider-Man needs to have a relatable shit life and he was like huh. ya I don't like that shit either but it's not that I'll show you why. Pulled up a fight scene from Spiderman 2 where Spider-Man is fighting Dr octopus on a wall and said "look at this shit. Tobey Mcguire don't play. He squares up with that nigga. Look at these punches" *Spiderman is punching and headbutting doc ock* " BOW BOW BOW BOW Tobey Mcguire Spider-Man will BEAT YOUR ASS. You don't see shit like that in the new ones. He don't do this. Remember Spiderman 1 he's fighting the green goblin? He punches through a fuckin brick. If that man didn't have goblin formula his head would come clean off. Spider-Man used to be a BEAST" and I'll always remember that and laugh. He's right though go back to those movies those fights are way more brutal than we've gotten since.
Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss things; small minds discuss people; black minds discuss dbz.

Sounds pretty American to me.
Isn't it?

All the years of the Left leveraging antisemitism as a reason to hate the right whether evident or not, all the comparisons to Hitler and sucking up to Jewish sensibilities...

...but then come 2022 and it all flipped on its head. I couldn't believe that all it took was a few camelfuckers to do the same thing they've always done - kick a hornet's nest then play the victim when retaliated against - and suddenly the Left are all goose-stepping sieg heilers in defence of the same people who were shown celebrating when 9/11 happened. Goes to show how warped and obscene the modern political landscape has become.

Speaking of John Walker, what are the odds of USAgent getting crippled in Thunderbolts?
It would be comic accurate :

People are thinking fem-taskmaster is the sacrificial stakes cow from her absence in some scenes of the trailer. If marvel was cool she would than be replaced by the true taskmaster, Greg Davies.

would explain why in every single promotional poster ive seen shes the only one wearing her face covering helmet.

this reminds me either this year or next year they can finally start production on X-men bullshit. if they were smart Kevin Faggy would just do a "reboot" and say the x-men takes place in a different universe (possibly the same one as FF) and just never return to this garbage MCU one. Maybe bring in spiderman but leave everyone else. someone brought up the idea of doing something a la House of M with the avengers films and that causes all the fucking mutants. that sounds retarded but not as retarded as the usual ideas the studios seem to have had so far

I agree with your point but ......some of these things aren't like the other

I still think Sydney Sweeney would have made a good invisible woman.

She is supposed to be like some sort of trad housewife but also a fierce lioness queen.

Point stands, I've seen far more love for even Shatterstar and Callisto from comic fans than I ever did for America Chavez or Ironheart from anybody at all, and Psylocke has an insane amount of fans for reasons I've never understood. Though in fairness I'm an old man. I guess extremely beloved is an overstatement, but in comparison to the characters they've been trying to put in the spotlight it's night and day.

Positively portraying a trad housewife is a thoughtcrime.
