I wanna point out yet again, superhero fatigue isn't an actual thing, "dogshit movie fatigue" is.

Superhero fatigue implies good movies are coming out and people aren't watching them, what's happening is that people have stopped watching bad movies.

B-but muh heckin' favorite A24 associated director and writer worked on it! It's not going to be slop and quirky on purpose this time, especially when one of the writers worked on Black Widow, Godzilla vs. Kong, Thor Ragnarok and Transformers One! There's also a 20-minute therapy session, which will be way more embarrassing than the faggot director whining about losing his boyfriend during the blip in Endgame.
 
There's a ton of cool superhero shit they could adapt but they won't because everything has to bloodless family friendly slop where CGI superheros fight CGI monsters.

Basically any Red Hood storyline
Punisher Ultimate
Blade Underworld

None of these will ever get a film adaptation.

Well they didn't and the issue was ass honestly. At least there was Venomzilla.

F4 and Hulk one shots are out as well but I will check them later. Each one shot focuses on different eras of both Marvel comics and the Godzilla movies at the same time.

Wow that was smooth. It might be worth pirating after all.

I am sick of Superman bad plots and people trying to recapture the magic of Sopranos therapy scenes. But at least camera work is good and the action doesn't look chopped every goddamn second. Even The Avengers movies suffer from that in my opinion.

On a side note, I noticed the artwork has heavily improved since the 1990s to 2000s era for Marvel Comics.

Is it because of Disney bux that they found better artists?

There was a period of time in the 90s when every artist was imitating the Image founders, badly. The modern 2000s style is less cartoony, but "better" may be a matter of taste.

Needless to say, I'm sure a lot of people would take exception to your description of Greg Land as one of the "better" artists.

I just noticed now, that Greg Land did the prequel one shot to Weapon X series.

I was reading some Fantastic Four run that started in 1998, and the artwork was giving me a fucking migraine on many panels.

I like that Alex Ross lad and whoever they hired to do the artworks for the Ryan North Fantastic Four, new Ultimate Spider-Man, Wolverine and Ultimates.

But people aren't even paying attention to the more passable or decent ones because they're either tired of the genre or because they expect a bad one. They're just going to go the same way of western movies eventually.
