The problem with Schumi is if he is the greatest it's the intangibles. I fully agree with your analysis but on the other hand, how much did he play a part in improving either of those teams? We can't really know.I still argue Michael Schumacher is the greatest. He built ferrari up from a joke team (apparently its natural state) to a force of nature. Retired on a record number of championships. Came back to drive for Merc for 2010-2012 helped develop through a lot of it's troubles, particularly at the rear to leave and have that development input go on to win 7 championships with a pair of middling drivers.
I think he was just winding up GP.Max is bored:

I mean, Ferrari's current team management are doing their best to make Binotto look good, so why not?I wonder if Binottoreally comes to Alpine. He was a real genius in terms of factory management but as a team boss I think he lacked the decision power (though he was someone who knew the ins and outs of the business).
Yeah, but considering all that's happened for the past year, I'd say it's not necessarily a bad idea. That's not strategy, that's just being French. tbh I'm surprised Alpine hasn't set fire to any of their cars yet.
Maybe I missunderstood, but wasn't the whole Alonso/Piastri situation partly his fault?Alonso and Oscar Pastry (who looks the real deal) gave them the finger... the list of embarassments goes on. ...
Hard to blame people like Otmar for any of this
How dare you speak of GOATifi in such terms?stroll is latifi levels of shit
I don't understand why they put so much wing compared to everyone else. It really looked like a GP2 engine with that setup. They could've done one like Silverstone where everyone was impressed by their speed on hards, but no. Let's be fucking pussies about it. And then that hard tire stop for Lando. Why? They lucked out on that result. Their meteo team tends to go against the grain and have that bite them in the ass, it's not the first time it's happened.McLaren showed so much promise a few days ago.
