The crowd grid walk was cringy as fuck. At least they knew something about the sport ratger than the "celebraties" he normally speaks to I suppose.

I still argue Michael Schumacher is the greatest. He built ferrari up from a joke team (apparently its natural state) to a force of nature. Retired on a record number of championships. Came back to drive for Merc for 2010-2012 helped develop through a lot of it's troubles, particularly at the rear to leave and have that development input go on to win 7 championships with a pair of middling drivers.
The problem with Schumi is if he is the greatest it's the intangibles. I fully agree with your analysis but on the other hand, how much did he play a part in improving either of those teams? We can't really know.

And the Grid Walk is one reason I never tune in early and wish we had our damn commentators back. They used to get Peter Windsor to do the same thing over here but he mostly just talked to F1 people about F1.

Here goes the hambone crying because the ferrari is too quick for him.

Is there any point to Sainz dragging that car round dropping like a stone?

And ezpz pass while Hamilton was harvesting adrenochrome power. I was vaguely worried he'd pull something.

They can fuck off if they red flag it just because it rains like Ted thinks they should/will. Just ruining the entire strategy of the sport by giving free stops out.

Looks like they specc'd for wet running.

Albon deciding when to bail out because its not a sensible place to be trying to overtake, unlike a certain someone in the sprint.

To be fair, Max was right, and the team pussying out cost him a point to hamilton. I feel like he was 'joking' but not really. You just know that if there had been a bonus point in Schumacher's time he would have gotten every single one in the season, they really are similar in many ways.

Also it's hilarious how the pitwall was freaking out over Max pushing too much when in reality he was saving his tires, and being 8 tenths up on Perez is just his natural state. He is absurdly good around Spa.

I wonder if Binottoreally comes to Alpine. He was a real genius in terms of factory management but as a team boss I think he lacked the decision power (though he was someone who knew the ins and outs of the business).
I mean, Ferrari's current team management are doing their best to make Binotto look good, so why not?
That's not strategy, that's just being French. tbh I'm surprised Alpine hasn't set fire to any of their cars yet.
Yeah, but considering all that's happened for the past year, I'd say it's not necessarily a bad idea.
Alonso and Oscar Pastry (who looks the real deal) gave them the finger... the list of embarassments goes on. ...

Hard to blame people like Otmar for any of this
Maybe I missunderstood, but wasn't the whole Alonso/Piastri situation partly his fault?
stroll is latifi levels of shit
How dare you speak of GOATifi in such terms?

I don't understand why they put so much wing compared to everyone else. It really looked like a GP2 engine with that setup. They could've done one like Silverstone where everyone was impressed by their speed on hards, but no. Let's be fucking pussies about it. And then that hard tire stop for Lando. Why? They lucked out on that result. Their meteo team tends to go against the grain and have that bite them in the ass, it's not the first time it's happened.

As for Oscar, I really like him and his "let's fucking race" attitude. It fucked up his race, but considering what he was trying to do and got unlucky I don't mind it. Same thing with Lando in Sochi, he lost but at least I felt like he was trying everything he could, so I didn't mind it. As a McLaren fan first and foremost, I wish the the team was more like this instead of falling back to pussy mode.
