A heated row has broken out over a move by Britain's largest bakery chain to launch a vegan sausage roll.

The pastry, which is filled with a meat substitute and encased in 96 pastry layers, is available in 950 Greggs stores across the country.

It was promised after 20,000 people signed a petition calling for the snack to be launched to accommodate plant-based diet eaters.

But the vegan sausage roll's launch has been greeted by a mixed reaction: Some consumers welcomed it, while others voiced their objections.

Cook and food poverty campaigner Jack Monroe declared she was "frantically googling to see what time my nearest opens tomorrow morning because I will be outside".

While TV writer Brydie Lee-Kennedy called herself "very pro the Greggs vegan sausage roll because anything that wrenches veganism back from the 'clean eating' wellness folk is a good thing".

One Twitter user wrote that finding vegan sausage rolls missing from a store in Corby had "ruined my morning".

Another said: "My son is allergic to dairy products which means I can't really go to Greggs when he's with me. Now I can. Thank you vegans."

TV presenter Piers Morgan led the charge of those outraged by the new roll.

"Nobody was waiting for a vegan bloody sausage, you PC-ravaged clowns," he wrote on Twitter.

Mr Morgan later complained at receiving "howling abuse from vegans", adding: "I get it, you're all hangry. I would be too if I only ate plants and gruel."

Another Twitter user said: "I really struggle to believe that 20,000 vegans are that desperate to eat in a Greggs."

"You don't paint a mustach (sic) on the Mona Lisa and you don't mess with the perfect sausage roll," one quipped.

Journalist Nooruddean Choudry suggested Greggs introduce a halal steak bake to "crank the fume levels right up to 11".

The bakery chain told concerned customers that "change is good" and that there would "always be a classic sausage roll".

It comes on the same day McDonald's launched its first vegetarian "Happy Meal", designed for children.

The new dish comes with a "veggie wrap", instead of the usual chicken or beef option.

It should be noted that Piers Morgan and Greggs share the same PR firm, so I'm thinking this is some serious faux outrage and South Park KKK gambiting here.

⚠️ Beware, if you attend the UTK protests tomorrow, you're going to get fucking raped ⚠️

Starmer has Tweeted out to threaten the British public that if they dare attend the UTK protests tomorrow, they will 100% ruin your life as revenge for doing so. The police are very evidently going to be agitating this event big-style, they are going to come down incredibly hard and crack heads at any given opportunity. Some highlights from the video include shots of the AIDS-patient looking faggot police commissioner, Sir Mark Rowley and Starmer looking at CCTV footage together in London.

Attend with caution, Kiwibros.

Some choice words from Dominik Tarczyński, a member of the European parliament who was barred from entering the country for this event:

You get a completely different experience attending something like this than talking to people online. You suddenly realise how many people feel the same as you do, whereas online you're made to feel like some exiled minority in fear for your life and liberty. You meet people, you network, you have a laugh and you feel part of something, you no longer feel alone. There's a reason they do everything they can to make people feel they shouldn't go or to try and stop them if they try.

And occasionally you can out the undercover officer unhitching railings and desperately trying to get people to charge the police.

Starmer is such a loathsome individual, may his memory be one day be condemned by history. He seeks to reduce Britain to ruins and call it progress.

At least they got a warning unlike the J6ers

Holy shit that's brutal, I'm kind of surprised (and grateful) that it's still on YT. I second Otterly; anyone with eyes can see how wrong this is and it should be a fairly straightforward case for a solicitor.
It ought to be a straightforward case. If it were anyone other than the police who did that it would be. But they've already refused to submit video footage, refused to allow a minor to be accompanied by his solicitor and a long list of other fucked up behaviour covering this. I think the solicitor will win, but the more public awareness of this there is, the more likely. Unfortunately this isn't about evidence but about publicity. Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? We've been dealing with this crap since Roman times.

The UTK organisers are really crossing their t's and dotting their i's on this. They know that so much as a sneeze in the wrong place is going to be used as an excuse to silence people, ruin careers, and potentially crack heads. It's not illegal to attend but they'll use every soft form of messaging they can to make you feel like it is.

They've done a very clear and simple attendance guide:

They've got an app to send out updates and notifications on the day. They're determined to make the UK authorities work hard for their pretexts.

I mean this is too early for a chimp out anyway. I fully expect in two, three months some Bambwele to culturally enrich some children again and combined with the heat to get something interesting.
I do wonder how much the British Police can actually handle. You have a ridiculously low number of cops per capita. And most of those are scrawny women that can be knocked out with a good fart. I think any incident with more than 100,000 civies or several incidents of about 10,000 and the UK cops can't do anything more than just sit on their ass and spectate.

London riots when boris was mayor.
Cops sat back and people burned to death in their flats.

Even in a video about his "values" he makes a mention that those values are shared by a "majority". And that said majority "must define who we are".

OK, so if it can be shown that actually the views of the UTK marchers are held by the majority of this country, is he going to change his values to match? Is he going to step aside, on the basis that the majority must define who we are?

Anyway, I know none of that really matters - the video is just a thinly veiled threat not to go.

I still remember when this shit kicked off in 2011. It all happened because the police shot some random nigger drug dealer called Mark Duggan, so the local apes decided it was time to burn the entire capital to the ground as revenge. The coppers completely lost control of the situation in a matter of hours because it was all being organised in private groups on BBM. Someone I knew back then who was a semi-well-known blogger/independent journo was in a couple of them and they were literally publishing timetables for when they were going to attack certain streets and shit. He was publishing hour-by-hour updates about it on Twitter at the time. Fucking crazy, looking back.

I still think that the funniest thing to come of the entire thing was when random nig nog teenagers were posting pictures of basmati rice and other dumb shit they stole from Tesco on Twitter and Facebook. Police in the UK are utterly powerless when people actually organise behind closed doors, it's why they're going all-in on facial recognition shit and want to censor the Internet to death. They don't want the Chud version of the 2011 riots to kick off, because they know they'll lose when it inevitably happens as a result of their betrayal of the British people. White people take way more to break than blacks, but when they do, white chimp-outs are unstoppable forces of nature that can't be stopped without major reforms taking place.

Big up da basmati masiv.

If they get enough of a heads up about something big (which they generally will for any form of mass demonstration) they can generally-ish handle it, although a lot of their "handling" of really big ones is documenting for later prosecutions. But that's because they bus in police from across the country to "handle" it. You notice it if you walk through Westminster before a big event, some of the police vans parked up are clearly from other forces (particularly obvious with the Welsh ones).

If multiple big events happen, they basically can't handle it, especially riots (because riots don't ask permission to get a heads up). That was obvious with the 2011 riots, particularly when there were flashpoints outside of London in cities and towns that had already sent most of their bobbies to London. Same deal with the flare ups after Southport, or asylum seeker hotels.

This is no doubt the root cause of their hand wringing over two big protests and the FA cup final happening on the same day. If these weren't politically sensitive, they'd have turned down something. It's like how they block license applications in areas with lots of nightlife - "you can't open a pub in this area, we already struggle policing the number of punters here at kicking out time".

The funniest thing by far was that woman who got nicked looting Curry's in her Curry's fleece.

I don't care what any stalker children have to say about "the police put a Curry's fleece on her because she got chilly".

So how likely is it that he might lose this by-election? Reform/Restore has a real chance to throw a spanner into the works here.
Hard to call. IIRC this is close to the constituency he used to be the MP of, and a lot of people may view this as a vote to get rid of Keir Starmer (which it basically is). Alternatively the cult of Andy may be on a downward spiral and constituents might be pissed off that their MP resigned to bus Andy in so he can immediately head off to Westminster.

I genuinely have no issue whatsoever with Palantir getting their grubby hands on UK infrastructure as it should be blatantly obvious to even the public themselves who haven't seen government/police/nhs databases that they're an absolute fucking mess.

If you get a tummy ache when you're in a town 20 minutes from where you live and (yes this is hypothetical, you'd never actually get one) get a doctors appointment, that doctor has no way of accessing your medical history on the fly. Granted, this level of incompetence has probably saved everyone's NHS data from leaking 40 times over, but it's 2026 for fucks sake, surely a database that only registered doctors could access (not Stacy in reception) can be possible. "B-but actually this surgery wants the buttons to be here not there so we can't do th..." SHUT THE FUCK UP AND EITHER USE THE FUCKING SYSTEM OR HAND IN YOUR FUCKING NOTICE.

Then there's the other public sector shit. Every single person here who knows someone who works for the police or civil service or local government etc. will have probably heard them whine about a new fucking system coming into place that's set to replace the old one but ends up having teething issues so both systems run concurrently until they try and work out what the fuck to do. If Palantir manages to create a system that can import JohnSmithCV.doc from the previous system into something that doesn't end up screwing it up into ARCHIVE-22984757019357.dcn then they can use whatever fucking data they want, they've earned it.

A streamlined despazzing of government databases would genuinely benefit everyone, but then unfortunately that'd mean that public sector workers would have no excuses for not being able to do their work so no wonder the laziest retards you know are mad about palantir.
The lost data was thought to concern approximately 25 million people in the UK (nearly half of the country's population). The personal data on the missing discs was reported to include names and addresses of parents and children and dates of birth of the children, together with the National Insurance numbers and bank or building society details of their parents.
On 17 December it was revealed by Ruth Kelly that the details of three million learner drivers were lost in the United States (LOL)
Palantir is certainly a step up

I remember watching a live stream of one of the anti coof/ vaccine protests in 2020/2021 in London and on the route, a bus had oh-so conveniently "broken down" and was parked up across the road. People just carried on and walked right past it. Doubtless the met were fucking seething their bait didn't work.

And if the "values" shared by "the majority" can be summed up as besties with literal pedophile-worshipping satanists who systematically target, groom, traffic and rape our native daughters, then not only am I glad to not be a part of that group, I hope Starmers kids are raped and broken by these people because that is what he is endorsing for us tax-paying niggercattle.

"Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord" but there's nothing about us mere mortals indulging in a spot of daydreaming occasionally.

Labour's NEC have voted to allow Burnham's candidacy,
Kinda weird that we can suddenly afford the substantial amount of taxpayers' money and resources on another unnecessary mayoral election when we apparently couldn't just a few months ago

So how likely is it that he might lose this by-election? Reform/Restore has a real chance to throw a spanner into the works here.
I think Burnham is probably still the likely winner, but it's probably a lot closer run thing than it would have been before now. Obviously Labour just got mogged in the local elections in Wigan, but if people see this as a referendum on Kier the Queer and a chance to kick him out that could very well tip it in Andy's favour

I believe this is not an organic response, and it is pushed on these family members by the police or some goverment agency? Or they censor themselves? But then why don't they refuse to comment?
If they do not take the carrot then they will get the stick.

I see, are they forced to comment? Are not commenting or being silent unavailable options?
Have you ever heard the phrase silence is violence? Or maybe, if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem? These people can only think in black and white, there is no "staying neutral".
