I mean not really because with Eldians, there were many groups that did advocate for their civil rights, even if it was at the cost of the Island. Furthermore, there could've been other methods to help the Island Eldians but that never happens because of the brothers.

As for Zeke's plan being worse than Eren's, that's pretty much a no as while it is a fucked up plan to sterilize your own race, Zeke isn't actively destroying the entire world which is what Eren is doing. Eren's plan pretty much guarantees the genocide of basically everyone since everyone outside of Paradis will die while the people on the island will eventually die due to the environmental fallback and infighting after the Rumbling is all said and done. Hell Eren's plans are even done with a pettier reason than Zeke because Eren just wanted to do it because the world didn't look like the storybook world he imagined along with being familyzoned.

Even in a narrative sense, this is not the case only because Zeke's plan is treated as something fucked up and never given any sort of whitewashing unlike Eren where there are moments where characters act like Eren is being helpful to them. Zeke and his plan has more self awareness put into how its written compared to Eren who gets a fucking heroic sendoff despite killing 4/5ths of the planet and probably committing many acts of genocide as it happened.
 
Zeke's an annoying cuck, but anyone who says his plan was somehow worse than Eren's is fucking retarded for the simple fact that sterilizing the Eldians wouldn't have resulted in the complete destruction of the fucking entire planet-Paradis included.

AOT became irredeemable when they did that invasion of Marley and then on the way out casually revealed that Zeke had been a double agent the entire time. That's when it became official that nothing you're reading matters or had ever mattered and it was just going to be one long game of Rugpull The Reader.

Pretty much, it was retarded since it was clear from the beginning who would survive it since Armin should've pretty much been dead from being burnt to a crisp and Erwin would've been the main obstacle to make sure Eren doesn't go full retard.

Not only that Armin lived for being a "good strategist" yet did fuck all in the timeskip till the final chapters due to Eren making the entire island subservient to him and his brother.

Hiruzu plan: Nobody dies, diplomatic channels open with eldians having the upper hand militarily with both the titan/rumbling threat and economically with the iceburst stone. Only option that has the potential for long term peace with nobody dying.

Zeke's plan: Eldians die in peace, rest of the world unharmed.

Genocide plan: Everyone except eldians die. Entire planet save for paradis inhospitable. Paradis is going to have resource problems in the far off future when they run out of space.

Eren's plan: Eldians die in brutal war, rest of the world annihilated beyond recovery. Ecosystem collapses and planet turns into a barren lifeless rock as the remaing nations fight over resources.



I'm sorry but Eren's plan is retarded beyond comprehension. Its literally hitler going "I commited the holocaust so that a ragtag team of germans would stop me and then the world would forgive us for world war one!"

The whole thing is incomprehensibly retarded. For a series that up until that point had done a fantastic job incorporating its fantasy elements into the politics of the world it was building the ending shits the bed hard.

The genocide should have either succeded, or Isayama should have taken care to not turn eren into a literal unstoppable fucking god if he didn't want it to.


Eren's excuses for all this shit are contradictory and retarded as well. With one breath he says that the reason he didn't stop his friends using his bullshit omnipotency + omniscience is because he didn't want to take their freedom away (but had no trouble taking it away from his mother and all the other people, INCLUDIDNG OTHER ELDIANS, he killed), but after he dies he claims that it was his plan to be stopped all along, and the reason he wanted to be stopped is for the affomentioned retarded holocaust/ww1 forgiveness thing that makes no fucking sense.

Genocide plan destroys the world and then having to live in a destroyed world is a poetic but bleak ending.

Zeke ending eldians in peace is a dramatic and quiet ending, depressing but the world goes forward.

Hiruzu plan also also moves the world forward with an optimistic ending for a brighter future.

Eren's plan kills his nation, leaves his enemies alive and fucks everyone over without any real message other than "damn, eren sure is a dipshit."



I don't care which of the four endings you support as long as its not eren's retarded one.

Personally I would prefer genocide because its bleak and poetic, or hiruzu because its optimistic.

Zeke's plan I don't like personally because its just giving up but it sure as fuck is better than eren's nonsensical retarded one.
