Sasha's relationship with Nico is basically establishing peace between Eldian and Marleyan

Very late, but when you guys say AOE, you're saying that there are people out there that want the Attack on Titan equivalent to...End of Evangelion...right?
Not just one where he wins, one where he is pretty much of absolved of any wrongdoing, fucks Historia, and gets away scott-free.They basically want Attack on Titan to have an anime original ending where Eren wins
The whole thing with Sasha and Niccolo was just dumb, sorry if anyone here actually liked it but it baffles me how people interpreted that shit as romantic or "deep" when it was literally just Sasha being her regular food-obsessed self. You can argue that it shows she was pure of heart and didn’t judge anyone but that’s really as far as it goes.Sasha's relationship with Nico is basically establishing peace between Eldian and Marleyan

Yeah because after all there was no other way and Eren needed to defend his country from a threat that he totally did not create on his own, they all just blindly agreed with a very hated nation and not because some dipshit killed basically every prime minister around the world. Not just one where he wins, one where he is pretty much of absolved of any wrongdoing, fucks Historia, and gets away scott-free.
Oh wait, I'm sorry, he feels really bad about everything, and becomes super depressed, and guilt-ridden as he chills out with Historia, and their kid on a farm as the rest of the world smolders around them, and that totally makes it okay.
I think it's more of how simple it was and one of the few bright spots in the entire timeskip, both in terms of something hopeful even how little it was and one of the few instances of a non-eldian outside world character not being portrayed as a cartoony racist asshole. The whole thing with Sasha and Niccolo was just dumb, sorry if anyone here actually liked it but it baffles me how people interpreted that shit as romantic or "deep" when it was literally just Sasha being her regular food-obsessed self.

I mean it's shippers and /pol/tards who think Isayama was cucked by the editor to make Eren a cuck instead of killing all his friends and then going back to his tradwife and daughter..At this point, I'm just confused to why people still want Eren to win and why they still view him as a hero.
At first, I was thinking it's because of the /pol/ tards but nowadays most of the /pol/ crowd went full trad LARP, so I highly doubt that even they care about AOT anymore.
Maybe it's the sunken costs fallacy?
If it's just that mindset, then the better course of action is to just sit back and enjoy the trainwreck or at least say "I liked AOT for a while but I thought that the ending sucked"
I'm not surprised if some of them genuinely think Isayama was forced by his editors to make that ending.I mean it's shippers and /pol/tards who think Isayama was cucked by the editor to make Eren a cuck instead of killing all his friends and then going back to his tradwife and daughter..
Cause you still have people ranting about how "DA ALLIANCE ARE TRAITORS AND FLOCH IS A REAL PATRIOT!"
Since these dumbasses think global genocide is a good thing ignoring the ecological disaster it would cause.
I understand it, I kind of wanted him to win. But by no means would I consider him a hero. Its the same kind of mindset where in some stories you are rooting for the villain. In the case of AOT, I didn't like the power of friendship shit and I think a grittier ending where Eren wins would be far more interesting. Doesn't mean he is necessarily justified in what he's doing, but it would make for a more intriguing storyAt this point, I'm just confused to why people still want Eren to win and why they still view him as a hero.

Yeah it doesn't help these people still mald about how Eren is a hero and use panels like this to justify it, despite later chapters establishing he only did the rumbling for petty personal reasonsI'm not surprised if some of them genuinely think Isayama was forced by his editors to make that ending.
Nevermind the fact that Isayama is a coked-up maniac who likes to actively fuck around with the audience and as long as he ties it into the AOT branding, he can get away with it...
I think it’s more that Erenfags want to believe he’s doing what’s best for everyone because he was initially set up as the hero, so they’re deluding themselves into it. I never bothered looking at any Reddit threads or whatever because I frankly don’t care but I’d wager there’s also a bunch of “Here’s how Eren can still be talked down” copium from people who want to see him pull a 180 and surprise everyone by doing something actually heroic in the end. These people have blind faith in Isayama and the direction he took Eren’s character so, naturally, he hasn’t done anything wrong in their eyes or can still be redeemed. At this point, I'm just confused to why people still want Eren to win and why they still view him as a hero.
I go on reddit occasionally and most of these people wish Eren went "100% Rumbling" and want everyone to die while Eren saved his "country", of course if we ignore all the ecological disasters and many other issues that would come with it..I think it’s more that Erenfags want to believe he’s doing what’s best for everyone because he was initially set up as the hero, so they’re deluding themselves into it. Eren dying wouldn't have accomplished anything and what he was doing was self defense. Instead of "deserved to die" he should have lived and tried to make the lives of others better.
The chances of an interesting ending were huge like there could have been an ending where he could have even gotten the worm attached to him, became the new founder and lived on for an eternity trying to make the world a better place after the rumbling. The possibility of kino was there but alas all we got was a garbage fanservice ending for mikasa fans.
I'm just gonna say it: anyone who thinks the Rumbling is a good idea is completely retarded because of that sole reason.ignoring the ecological disaster it would cause.
I get what you mean, and I just wanna reiterate that there's nothing wrong with rooting for the bad guy. Bad guys, for the most part, are usually a lot more fun than the good guys.I understand it, I kind of wanted him to win. But by no means would I consider him a hero. The comments are wonderful.
I liked the first AoT live action movie, there is an horror feel on it.Y’know, part of me kinda hopes that Netflix decides - after they rape YYH and One Piece - to make live action AoT.
It can’t be much worse, and it’s a series even it’s fans hate the ending of - with how much they’d deviate, they might actually get something salvagable and no I can’t even type that with a straight face
God, how bland did those have to be that I completely forgot they existed…I liked the first AoT live action movie, there is an horror feel on it.
It is even funnier because it used modern equipment way before it was revealed that those also existed in the manga.
but the second movie was trash.

EDIT: Here is a choice quote and an unironic post about "AOE WILL HAPPEN FOR REAL!"

I still remember when that chapter of the manga dropped and how sad it made me. She was a good character. It's once again Sasha's birthday, and all I have to say is that in addition to everything else, an AOE will also not undo the travesty that was her death, or the trainwreck that was her family's reaction to it.
One of the comments is hilarious
I love how Eren cucks who probably only read the title have to still rely on the "DER WUZ NO OTHER WAY" argument even despite the fact the only reason the world even wanted to exterminate "HIS PEOPLE" were because of these niggas
