As someone else pointed out previously, Labour and the Tories are basically the same product in different packaging. Labour went absolutely batshit back around 2015 when Corbyn was in charge, full of legit communists, troons, islamists, nonces etc.. Starmer seems to have done a "Night Of The Long Knives" on some of the more radical leftovers of the Corbyn era to try and appeal to the average traditional working class voter. However, they are still extremely pozzed.. it can go three different ways.

1.) Same as always (however Labour just blame all their fuck ups on the previous Tory government)

2.) Starmer tries to appease the British public by curbing immigration and removing some of the more insidious policies pushed through over the past 14 years (extremely unlikely)

3.) They go full mask off and start pushing troon and nigger shit on a level that makes Canada look like Hungary.

Any which way you slice it, this isn't a good day for the British isles, i mean even if the Tories stayed in power it still wouldn't be good.. that's just how bad the state of our country is. The only people who will be celebrating today will be upper middle class student faggots.. and even then, a lot of the more hardline ones have distanced themselves from Labour and latched onto more extreme pro Gaza parties.

maybe i'm just coming at it from an american perspective but it seems like a lot of veterans of both major parties are getting the boot in a way you don't see in american politics very much. from '95 to '06 your congressman was more likely to be removed from office by dying, retiring or going to prison than being voted out of office. So seeing all these assholes get the boot is a major W for society at minimum.

Word is Sunak basically wants to fuck off to the US so at the very least being elected means he's at least got to put on some show of effort before fucking off if he wants to maintain credibility.

I'm generally fine with making it tricky for him to navigate to the stage exit considering how easily he got the PM position. He deserves to skirm his way out. Hope the locals give him hassle.

I think it somewhat says something about him that he's already conceeded.

My old hometown areas were all true blue for decades and went red tonight. At least now Labour can show if they really would do a better job managing the South East (spoiler: probably not)

Ian Paisley Jr about to lose North Antrim. This is somewhere around the level of happening of Vatican City adopting Calvinism. The last time Paisley jnr or snr did not hold this seat, Nixon was President. The DUP is dying on its arse everywhere, and may end up with fewer seats than Sinn Fein. For context, Sinn Fein do not take their seats in Westminster.

The Alliance have relieved the DUP of their former leader Jeffrey Donaldson's seat. Donaldson did not stand due to being currently about to be tried for years of historical sexual abuse of his daughters. His wife is on trial alongside him for aiding and abetting him. Northern Ireland regrettably does not have the death penalty.

Wales has cleansed itself of Tory infestation, no seats left in Tory hands.

There is a lot of excitement at the Truss count, where the national lettuce is reportedly likely to finish third behind both Labour and Reform.

It's like they learned literally nothing from the college fees era.
I suppose they're banking that they're never asked to be part of a coalition government again, even though this election is all over the place and indicative of general turmoil.
 
Scottish conservative Leader Douglas Ross lost his seat to the SNP. Still has his MSP seat mind so not rid of the spineless weasel yet but no doubt be will step down being leader.
 
It looks like you guys are gonna get the slightly better hellhole party led by an actual Brit, not some Pajeet from the other hellhole party again. As an American, I can give my congrats to you escaping the Tories.
