If he can be proven to have subverted the legal process by acting in conflict with his constitutional duties as a judge by hiding away the bodycam footage, or even allowing its destruction, he can face reprimands up to the point of suspension and removal.

If it can be proven that the lawyer who filed this request violated his duties and attempted to pull a fast one the judge and the legal system he could face anything from fines to a revocation of his license. There are systems in place to punish these behaviors but a lot of the time they are very hard to activate unless powerful enough people are willing to play ball.
