Minor PL: I once had a job servicing peoples' homes and I remember walking into one that matched the description of Nick's home. The floor was covered in clothes and rags to the point you had to walk across them. I pushed some of the clothes aside with my foot and I found a bunch of bugs and shit crawling around.

I really hope for the sake of those kids that Nick's PO made him clean that shit up. I can easily imagine him having to go over his floors with a snow shovel and scooping everything into trash bags because there's no saving that stuff. There's more than just clothes on that floor.
Nick didn't clean it up. His parents did. There is no fucky wucky too big or small for them to sweep up when it comes to their little retard.

In the below spoiler, I have put AI to an actual good use and asked grok to explain the probable scenarios for Nick’s daughter to have the amount of cocaine metabolites in her hair that she did

The first sentence:

IMG_8206.webp

A hair follicle test result of over 5,000 ng/mg for cocaine in a 9-year-old girl, as reported in the case of Nick Rekieta's daughter, is exceptionally high and suggests significant, likely chronic exposure, most plausibly through ingestion rather than environmental contact. Below, I outline potential ingestion scenarios that could lead to such a high concentration, based on the pharmacokinetics of cocaine, hair incorporation mechanisms, and the extreme nature of the test result. The scenarios are speculative but grounded in scientific understanding of cocaine metabolism and hair testing, as detailed in my prior responses. Note that such a case involving a minor raises serious ethical and legal concerns, likely warranting investigation by child protective services.

### Key Context
- **Test Result**: Over 5,000 ng/mg is far above the Society of Hair Testing (SoHT) cutoff for cocaine (0.5 ng/mg) and its metabolite benzoylecgonine (BZE, 0.05 ng/mg). Typical concentrations from active use range from 0.1–131 ng/mg, with 5,000 ng/mg indicating extreme exposure, likely repeated and high-dose ingestion.
- **Hair Testing Window**: A 1.5-inch hair sample reflects approximately 90 days of exposure (hair grows ~1 cm/month). Drugs take 4–7 days to appear in hair above the scalp, so the result reflects repeated exposure over weeks to months.
- **Child Factors**: A 9-year-old (~28–30 kg) has a smaller body mass and potentially faster metabolism than adults, affecting cocaine pharmacokinetics. Lethal doses for children are lower (0.2–1.2 g), making chronic ingestion scenarios particularly dangerous.

### Potential Ingestion Scenarios
The following scenarios could theoretically lead to a hair cocaine concentration exceeding 5,000 ng/mg, assuming repeated exposure over the 90-day detection window. Each scenario considers the amount, frequency, and context of ingestion, with the caveat that exact doses are difficult to quantify due to variability in metabolism, hair incorporation, and limited pediatric data.

1. **Accidental Ingestion via Contaminated Substances**:
- **Scenario**: The child unknowingly consumes food, drinks, or medications contaminated with cocaine. For example, cocaine residue on surfaces (e.g., kitchen counters, utensils) in a household with heavy drug use could contaminate food or beverages, leading to small but repeated ingestions.
- **Amount and Frequency**: Small doses (e.g., 1–10 mg per incident, equivalent to 1,000–10,000 ng) consumed daily or several times weekly over 90 days could accumulate in hair. For instance, ingesting 5 mg/day (5,000 ng/day) for 60 days totals 300 mg, potentially sufficient to reach 5,000 ng/mg in hair, depending on incorporation efficiency.
- **Mechanism**: Cocaine enters the bloodstream, is metabolized into BZE, and is incorporated into hair follicles. Repeated low-dose exposure could build high concentrations over time, especially in darker hair with higher melanin content.
- **Likelihood**: Possible in a household with poor hygiene and rampant cocaine use, but achieving 5,000 ng/mg would require consistent, significant contamination. Environmental exposure alone (e.g., touching residue) is unlikely to produce such high levels, as washing protocols should remove external cocaine.
- **Indicators**: High BZE levels in the hair test would confirm ingestion, as BZE is a metabolite produced only in the body.

2. **Deliberate Administration by a Caregiver or Third Party**:
- **Scenario**: A caregiver, family member, or other individual intentionally administers cocaine to the child, possibly mixed into food, drinks, or disguised as medication. This could occur in cases of abuse, neglect, or misguided attempts to sedate or control the child.
- **Amount and Frequency**: Doses of 10–50 mg per incident (10,000–50,000 ng), administered multiple times weekly (e.g., 3–5 times/week) over 90 days, could lead to 5,000 ng/mg. For example, 20 mg ingested 4 times weekly for 12 weeks totals ~960 mg, a cumulative dose that could produce extreme hair concentrations.
- **Mechanism**: Chronic ingestion ensures steady incorporation of cocaine and BZE into hair via the bloodstream. The high result suggests frequent dosing, as single or sporadic doses (even large ones) are less likely to produce such elevated levels.
- **Likelihood**: Disturbingly plausible in cases of abuse or neglect, especially in environments with known drug use. The high concentration suggests intentional or reckless administration rather than incidental exposure.
- **Indicators**: Consistent high doses would produce significant BZE and norcocaine in hair, strongly indicating ingestion. This scenario would likely trigger immediate safeguarding concerns.

3. **Self-Ingestion Due to Access in a Drug-Using Environment**:
- **Scenario**: The child finds and ingests cocaine accessible in the home (e.g., powder, pills, or residue mistaken for candy or another substance). This could occur in a household with unsecured drugs and inadequate supervision.
- **Amount and Frequency**: Variable doses (e.g., 5–20 mg per incident) consumed sporadically but repeatedly (e.g., 1–3 times weekly) over 90 days could accumulate. For example, 10 mg ingested twice weekly for 90 days totals ~360 mg, potentially sufficient for high hair concentrations.
- **Mechanism**: Similar to other ingestion scenarios, cocaine is metabolized and incorporated into hair. Sporadic but frequent ingestion could still produce a high cumulative concentration, especially if the child has high melanin content in hair.
- **Likelihood**: Less likely than accidental or deliberate administration, as a 9-year-old is unlikely to seek out cocaine intentionally. However, curiosity or mistaking the substance for something else (e.g., sugar) could lead to ingestion in a chaotic environment.
- **Indicators**: High BZE levels and a pattern of exposure (segmental hair analysis showing consistent drug presence) would support ingestion over environmental contact.

4. **Chronic Exposure Through Breast Milk or Shared Substances (Unlikely)**:
- **Scenario**: If the child were exposed to cocaine via breast milk from a using caregiver or through shared substances (e.g., contaminated pacifiers, bottles), small amounts could be ingested over time. This is less relevant for a 9-year-old, who is unlikely to be breastfed, but could apply to shared items in rare cases.
- **Amount and Frequency**: Very small doses (e.g., 0.1–1 mg per incident) via milk or shared items, consumed daily over 90 days, could accumulate. However, the total dose would likely be too low to reach 5,000 ng/mg.
- **Mechanism**: Low-level ingestion would incorporate trace amounts of cocaine and metabolites into hair, but concentrations would typically be far below 5,000 ng/mg (e.g., 0.1–10 ng/mg).
- **Likelihood**: Highly unlikely for a 9-year-old, as breast milk exposure is age-inappropriate, and shared items would contribute minimal amounts compared to direct ingestion.

### Supporting Factors and Considerations
- **Hair Characteristics**: Darker hair binds cocaine more readily due to higher melanin content, potentially amplifying concentrations. If the child has dark hair, lower doses could still produce high test results.
- **Metabolite Analysis**: The presence of BZE or norcocaine in the hair (especially at high ratios) confirms ingestion, as these are not present in environmental cocaine. A 5,000 ng/mg result with significant BZE strongly points to ingestion rather than skin contact.
- **Testing Protocols**: Inadequate washing or contamination during testing could inflate results, but reputable labs follow SoHT guidelines to minimize false positives. The reported level (over 5,000 ng/mg) is so high that it likely reflects true incorporation via ingestion.
- **Pharmacokinetics in Children**: A 9-year-old’s smaller body mass and faster metabolism could lead to higher relative concentrations in hair for a given dose compared to adults, but data is limited due to ethical constraints on pediatric studies.
- **Toxicity Risks**: Even small doses (e.g., 10 mg) can cause symptoms in a child (e.g., agitation, increased heart rate), and chronic ingestion at levels needed for 5,000 ng/mg would pose severe health risks, including seizures or cardiac issues.

### Challenges in Quantification
- **Dose Variability**: Hair concentrations don’t directly correlate with ingested dose due to differences in metabolism, hair growth, and incorporation rates. Studies on adults show wide ranges (e.g., 0.5–50 ng/mg for moderate use), and 5,000 ng/mg is rare even in heavy users.
- **Lack of Pediatric Data**: No studies quantify cocaine doses in children leading to specific hair concentrations, making estimates speculative. The scenarios above extrapolate from adult data and general principles.
- **Environmental Contamination**: While unlikely to produce 5,000 ng/mg, heavy environmental exposure (e.g., living in a home with frequent cocaine use) could contribute to lower-level positives, complicating interpretation without metabolite analysis.

### Conclusion
The most plausible ingestion scenarios leading to a hair cocaine concentration exceeding 5,000 ng/mg in a 9-year-old include:
1. **Accidental Ingestion**: Repeated consumption of contaminated food or drinks (e.g., 1–10 mg/day) over 90 days in a household with rampant cocaine use.
2. **Deliberate Administration**: Intentional dosing by a caregiver or third party (e.g., 10–50 mg, 3–5 times/week) over weeks, suggesting abuse or neglect.
3. **Self-Ingestion**: Sporadic consumption of accessible cocaine (e.g., 5–20 mg, 1–3 times/week) due to curiosity or mistake in an unsupervised environment.

These scenarios require chronic exposure, as a single ingestion event, even of a large dose, is unlikely to produce such an extreme concentration. The presence of BZE in the hair test would confirm ingestion over environmental exposure. Given the severity of the result and the child’s age, any of these scenarios raises urgent safeguarding concerns, warranting immediate investigation by authorities and consultation with a forensic toxicologist for precise interpretation.

If you need further analysis or specific details (e.g., segmental hair testing to pinpoint timing), please let me know. For case-specific concerns, contacting child protective services or a toxicology expert is critical.

My understanding is that Nick's parents cleaned the house for him after the arrest.

If you want to continue to work yourselves into knots over this stuff be my guest but the complaining isn't going to change anything and you're still going to have people enter in the thread without the complete picture because no one is under any obligation to read through 9000 pages of a thread or keep up to date with every single Community Happenings update Rekieta gets (often multiple in a day) before posting. You can either accept that and correct the record with the right information or keep whining because someone didn't know random pedantic balldo trivia factoid #341305. These threads are no one's personal community or circlejerk no matter how many posts you have in any given thread and other people are welcome to read and post and will naturally be drawn to speculation.
Christ just take the L. Whether the amount the kid tested positive for is a reasonably transfersble amount has been discussed to death, it's not a small random technicality. It's one of the main reasons Nick is viewed with disgust at this point.

We all know that Nick can't keep his mouth shut if his life depended upon it, and if he couldn't, he could be made to back up his mouth in a court of law.
Even if Nick desperately wanted to keep his mouth shut and had a gun to his head, it would instantly open if a black dick got anywhere near it.

Unfortunately by all accounts it seems like April wants to wash her hands of the situation and not look back, I doubt she would get involved again unless Nick was trying to drag her back into it and her only recourse to get rid of him were to authorize the release of the footage.
At least somebody in that house washed their hands once in a while.

Fucking hoarders, man. I'm surprised they didn't have bedbugs - That's a fucking nightmare to deal with.
ne of the officers goes downstairs to retrieve the youngest child. She comes up holding the officer’s hand. She speaks to him, but the audio was unclear due to background noise, so I couldn’t make out what she said. As they head toward the door, she pauses to pick up the cat so she can take it outside with her.
Kayla and the kids are still sitting on the ground against the house (behind the cop). Kayla is sitting with her head on her oldest daughter’s shoulder.
(It’s a heartbreaking scene.)
This shit really upset me, I don't know why, but... IDK, shit is just heartbreaking. As soon as I read this I stopped finding the situation (Nick being a druggie loser) funny and it just made me sad and angry.

April is the best option to get it done honestly. She could easily make 10s of thousands on her leverage over it. Lots of humiliating shit about her is out there without her consent at this point, what's to lose and why not benefit off repaying the favor? I'm optimistic.
Also it's sad those kids are so used to drama and fighting and chaos they hardly react to it.
After the new court order, would April’s permission even still be enough?
I keep reading about a highlight feature but how do I use it? I can't find it. Can't keep up with the 100 pages/day
it’s at the top right (or bottom right) of every thread. It’s the arrows on either side of the little ribbon icon, to go forward or backwards. Each highlighted post also has the arrows at the top right of the text box.

That town has a population of ~1000 people. Everyone knows everyone, and with the footage in wider circulation, other kids would find it. Their kids probably know each other. Little Shaniqua Rekeita would be mercilessly ridiculed by her peers for the squalor they live in.

IMO I do not see any good reason for the sheriff to tell the judge to kick rocks if it wasn’t because of something like this. I don’t think anyone believes the town wants to protect Nick, but it seems very reasonable to want to protect the innocent kids.
This is an idea I share as well, but a bit more dramatically. I have a sense that people in the county may want to protect the innocents from a man on the edge of losing control, an addict who was armed and professes to have kill lists. They may be weighing the options of "public interest" versus a 7-victim murder-suicide concern.

The point isn't about being wrong, the point is that it's a lot of gay whining from people who live in these threads and are upset that every single Farmer isn't up to date with every single detail about Balldo as if he's some obscure cow with a low traffic thread that gets a couple of posts a week. And in all that whining no one bothered to link to whatever posts that have these details that they think are so important that everyone needed to know about them.

I don't care about being wrong about Balldo lore because I don't derive my self worth from how many lolcow factoids I can memorize. I'm fine with being corrected. And I'm very happy to share what I remember or know to others in the threads who are asking questions or mistaken about something without throwing a pissy tantrum that someone was wrong about Rekieta lore. It's very easy to not be MATI and simply provide correct information in those cases. I did a few times already in the last page or two.

Yes. The court order says indirectly that the video can't be released as a public record because (per their logic) it was never properly brought into the case as evidence.

But the individuals involved in the video still preserve the right to allow its release. The one doesn't really depend on the other at all.

Ok I really wonder what this one is about? It's kind of funny reading it again because there are probably a whole list of degenerate things that they may have found and any of them could be the subject of this conversation.
My guess is it was the sheet number of dildos lying around. Two dickriders with one chud between them are one dick short.

Fair enough but I'd venture to suggest that publicly displaying her intimate, disgusting and humiliating texts and then continuously publicly discussing her former marriage, their affair and drug use, might count as dragging her back in. Can't imagine her name gets great Google results these days but who knows maybe she's totally unaware.

Idk man, over time I think of it as less of a joke and more of a “maybe” that Nick caught a demon as an std.

His behavior is so fucking unhinged and he -revels- in doing everything that is obviously not fucking good to do

Being real, he was smart enough to pass the bar exam not THAT long ago, like within the past decade, wasn’t it?
10 years and a couple of months (Feb 2015).

So how can you be smart enough to pass the bar and simultaneously too stupid to understand nitrous isn’t even fun and and you’d literally be better off having your retarded junior high friend choke you out for a similar hypoxia high that doesn’t damage your dna
I doubt you'd be surprised to learn that a lot of smart people are practical idiots. Or that Nick isn't smart, which he is not, unless you get extra points for hubris and narcissism (no). Undistinguished in high school, undistinguished at a noncompetitive college, undistinguished at every job he's ever had, undistinguished at a low-tier law school, undistinguished (putting it generously) as a lawyer, loud and wrong as a legal commentator, disaster of a parent.

"Should be" is not a synonym for "is." Unfortunately, Minnesota is virtually the of Florida, which has the "Sunshine Law," which should be the national model for public records laws.
I actually feel bad for Florida in one respect: One of the reasons they get called retarded so often ("Florida man" jokes) is they have excellent public records laws. It's really not that they are more retarded than any other state. It's just easier to see their retardation.

That is not "the position" anyone took, as far as I have seen - and again, would love to see it if I missed it.
Okay. Did you watch Sean's evening show the other day (the one he did 90 minutes after Karen Read)? If not, I recommend you do so. He goes over why he thinks the Prosecutor and White (and I guess technically the judge now, after today) are wrong and why the two bodycams were properly presented/introduced/whatever into evidence and the court record (he uses both terms), so as to qualify them as public record.

It's in the second segment, at about the 31 minute mark.

The point isn't about being wrong, the point is that it's a lot of gay whining from people who live in these threads and are upset that every single Farmer isn't up to date with every single detail about Balldo as if he's some obscure cow with a low traffic thread that gets a couple of posts a week. Ignore it. Have you never learned that lesson from a lolcow?

Kayla is utterly worthless. She is willing to lay around stoned out off her worthless ass while Nick starves her children to the point they're visibly emaciated and looking like African orphans you'd use to raise money. She doesn't even give a single shit about the kids she pumped out like some kind of retard factory.
She is wholly dedicated to the Discolored Streetmeat lifestyle and most likely has been for years by now...

I personally believe Aaron is still holding back some stories—especially regarding them damn keedz. But I could be wrong.
Most likely, Aaron is playing it fast and loose in a lot of this but he has managed to duck and weave legal liability by sheer retarded luck but also seems intent on at least not making it worse for the kids.

There's nothing erect about Nick. There is plenty of homo though.
"Lies and slander you dishonest kiwifag! I will have you know that erect men are regularly inside me! I win again!" :really:

i honestly don't understand why anyone would still side on team rekieta. after all of the revelations with the daughter testing positive for cocaine, rekieta should be irredeemable to a tradcon winemom audience. especially since rekieta is unrepentant for all of it.

i don't get it. why are the wine moms sticking with nick rekeita? rekieta is an ugly man. so it can't be physical attraction, like hasan has for his female audience. rekieta is not funny, so it can't for the intentional lols. at this point, rekieta is too brain damaged to be witty, charismatic, or noble. is it just the sunk cost fallacy? the wine moms invested too much time in rekieta, so they would look stupid if they turned on him?
I would argue those sticking around the N2O King aren't your average wine mom. I think those all went to Emily Baker and related types once Nick made it clear how boring he found trial streaming. Wine moms want the goss on true crime stuff and probably find Emily a kindred spirit.

I think Nick's flock is more accurately crack moms. White trash types who cling to conservative or lolbertarian dogma for purely self centered reasons. It doesn't take much for many of these people to admit to having substance abuse issues too. See chief sweeper in comments, Nicola, as one example. I think many of them see themselves in Nick as a "persecuted" figure and project a ton onto him. He's more than happy to play into it to feed his narc need for control.
The kind of women who still stick around Nicholas the drug-cuck are the same single mothers that invite suspicious men into their lives then go to bat for the suspicious men to the point of testifying in court against their own children even after video and rape-kits proves their children were abused due to their choice in men, the kind of people who cannot be helped.

I think them denying the people the footage reflects poorly on Kandiyohi County and makes them seem complicit in either abetting a convicted criminal or trying to absolve themselves of percieved guilt. I believe the only way to show themselves in good faith is by releasing the footage, unless they have something very dark to hide.
Francis White, I can understand (possibly even expect), but the fucking County Attorney?
I wonder if the county trying to suppress the footage is because there is something in it the county is guilty of in inlusion to nick. Like the police or the county messed something up that would have indicted nick way more and so all parties involved do not want that footage to come into the public perception.
What is Kandiyohi county trying to hide? Is it true that this was all a setup to get Nick? Did the cops rub cocaine residue into his daughter's hair to get a positive test and ruin Nick's reputation because he was speaking truth to power? Clearly the county, the cops, and the judges are trying to bury all their sins with Nick's career and hoping no one notices. Maybe Nick was right all along...
What I don't understand is why the county is willing to help him? He has accused multiple people multiple times of planting evidence and improper behavior, but they can't actually have done this on the footage because then he would be releasing it himself regardless of how dirty it is, he wouldn't have even pleaded guilty.

I was fairly convinced that this guy had given the county plenty of motivation to spite him, now they're trying to deny an order to do so? There has to be something greater at play here.

Either that or Nick is extremely good at portraying himself as someone who needs protecting.
What for? Is Rekieta just that well connected or is it more a matter of this case being a huge public circus for their county and them wanting to quietly sweep it away?
So to avoid a lawsuit from Rekieta they're risking a lawsuit from Null? Is this Kandiyohi county calling Null bitchmade and that he won't sue? "WELL ACKSUALLY WE ARENT RELEASING JACK SHIT WUT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THAT BISSSH?"
This is not about Nicholas at this point, I am sure of it. Everyone is trying to protect themselves from losing the benefits of being in the good graces of the Rekieta Crime Family and their oil money. Or even protect themselves, with that kind of small town politics and the riches of the Rekieta Crime Family it would mean that whoever has to take the fall could have their entire family driven out of the county if not the state. The pettiness of small town dynamics in cases like this can be terrifying and it would not be the first time a rich family ruins the lives of an entire bloodline to make a point of not slighting them.

I feel given how many people despise Rekieta that if the state or county cockblocks the bodycam enthusiasts people will just "illegally" drop what they have MNPublicRecords style and that will be that. Rekieta has no goodwill other than what his mom can buy so no one will shield him unless financially motivated to do so. It will come out. Unlike Rekieta.
So are Nick's parents bribing the judge and prosecutor to act retarded. Or are they doing this by their own stupidity?
The fact that even the county is sweeping for Nick at this point is hilarious. What kind of karmic lottery winner do you need to be to slip out of consequences this consistently? The sacred geometry of lolcows is truly beyond mortal understanding. It's staggering. They suffer, but only ever because of their own narcissistic bondage. External reality can never touch them.
Why would the sheriff help Nick ? I thought everybody hated him in the county
Guess Rekieta's family can pull "powerful family" strings for him too in addition to enabling him with pure infinite cash infusions. I shouldn't be surprised.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was a desperate, twofold attempt to save face for the county and to honor a backroom deal that the sheriff had with Bob and Celeste.

Can't have their least successful baby boy ruin the family image, y'know.
Can't imagine its worth whatever trouble they'd get into by just outright denying a court order. Can't the sheriff be held in contempt for saying they just outright will not adhere to a court order?
My view is that it is not so much about protecting Nicholas as it is protecting the Rekieta reputation and remaining in the good graces of Bob and Celeste. They hold the county moneybags and can stop donating to, or supporting the businesses and organizations of anyone related to the person or persons considered to be guilty of failing to stop the release of the bodycam footage.

Someone needs to look into this Candy-oh-high County Sheriff who is ignoring a judge's lawful order to release the body cam footage.
This reeks of possibly taking a bribe from mommy and daddy Rekieta, er.. I mean their campaign contribution to get him re-elected.
sheriff is an elected position and donations are supposed to be public...any Rekietas on that list?
Possibly, but there is no reason to believe they would have to be so direct. With old money like this in small communities it is very easy to keep the donations far away from the goal you are actually paying for. You want a specific judge or sheriff to be elected?
Simple, attend public events and social gatherings, like the Rekieta Crime Family is well known to do, talk up your candidate regularly to powerful and influential people while asking how their grandkids business is doing, perhaps you will shop there in the future?
Ask how their sick relative is doing, maybe they need a better place in a nice hospice, help jumping the line for a spot in a certain hospital wing, or they could use help finding a good doctor? Maybe one of their relatives is organizing a charity or public event, ask about it, promise to attend and invite some of your rich friends to come along, easy.
Maybe their nephew is having problems securing permission to build a new store or house? Promise to mention it to your good friend on the City Board or Mayor as you are having dinner with them next weekend. I could go on describing the basics of small town influence peddling but this is already long winded.

They’re not protecting Nick, they’re protecting themselves. This video is damning not to a neglectful alcoholic who didn’t give a fuck until he got caught, but to the sheriffs and DHS of Kandiyohi, who let this retard make an ass of their little town in the middle of fucking nowhere. The last thing they want is YouTube channels like EWU to broadcast this colossally embarrassing fuck up to the world.
Could be a part of it as well, but I suspect the fear of fallout from the heads of the Rekieta Crime Family's Bob and Celeste is a more urgent worry for them.
