I will agree on Newman's score and Conrad Hall's phenomenal cinematography. I don't think Spacey's performance aged particularly well and the script is not exactly fantastic. (On a totally unrelated note, Hall's cinematography is absolute kino, in the original sense. Look at his final work, Road to Perdition. Absolute masterpiece. I remember not much about the actual movie, but its appearance was breathaking. I think directors are overrated as auteurs.)

Context: Frank White (also known as the Barneswalker) repeatedly cited two body worn cameras as part of his motion to dismiss prior to the omnibus hearing in an attempt to exclude April Imholte's responses to questioning during the search.





At the Omnibus Hearing, when the Barneswalker attempted to bring up the issue, the judge interrupted and stated it "seems like more a motion in limine". Barneswalker Frank says that he found a past case where it "ended up with the issue being harmless error ... because it wasn't raised early enough."

When the judge goes through the list of evidence Frank has filed and asks Frank "to detail what your exhibits are", Frank says "I'll get rid of the two easiest ones to get rid of, there are -- thjere are two body cam vid -- videos because Ms. Pierce is conceding that that's not necessary and those relate solely to -- to -- to the third issue that I raised. Those -- those are not particularly relevant."
