Playing DDR for an hour a day is 1000x better for the heart than the vax.
Agreed, once you take the time to figure out timing, get out of the routine beginner habits, and don't be those people stuck in the yonder days of bar rape bad, even a few hours once a week is enough. A handful of years back, I was a few pounds or so away from being considered overweight (not fat) but I got lucky when the arcade near me got the newest DDR. It was hell at first even on the easiest songs but I stuck to a weekly routine, slowly improved and started to play harder songs, and now I've lost double digit pounds since then. Just avoid the competitive/Twitter community like the plague. Either run into huge-ass egos, drama, virtue signaling SJWs, rapists, trannies, furries, or some combination. Also the #1 player in the US (also that guy who FC'ed TTFAF on GH3) who has 99% of all the WRs on the hardest songs basically cheats by VPNing to the online network from a personal cab which technically isn't allowed but no one dare wants to say anything publicly because he's literally worshipped in the community as a god.

We could probably save thousands of American lives if we had more DDR machines and setups in schools and job sites.

I wish Guitar Hero didn't oversaturate the genre back in the day and Konmai wasn't so behind on the times but at the same time, those machines are pretty bulky and cost a ton, and the third party market for arcade-like pads is also pretty tragic so I can see why there isn't many outside of arcades or private collections. Plus stomping around and shit is not going to go well anywhere besides a garage or the first floor of a house.

Last winter I went to an arcade and playing DDR 10 footers was probably the most exercise and sweaty I've been the whole year.

Like 10 footers on the older 1-10 scale or the newer 1-20 scale? Because there's a big difference between the two.

Anyways, back on topic, the service I mentioned sorta cucked by allowing censored cards which yeah...totally will not be abused in the slightest. "promoting health in our community" my ass lmao.

Thats exactly why I removed myself. And it was way easier than I expected. Took 90 seconds from "remove self from organ donor registry illinois." Only reason it took that long was I had to grab my wallet for my DL#, which I found out I no longer have memorized. Fuck 'em.
I posted this in the other thread too, but tran$plant medicine has always been an abusive racket:

When he applied to the transplant program at the University of Pennsylvania in 2011, he was rejected because of his “psychiatric issues, autism, the complexity of the process . . . and the unknown and unpredictable effect of steroids on behavior,” according to the denial letter sent to his mother.
“I couldn’t even believe this would happen,” Karen Corby said, “that this would be the reason in this day and age.”
In fact, mentally disabled people are turned down for organ transplants often enough that their rights are a rapidly emerging ethical issue in this corner of medicine, where transplant teams have nearly full autonomy to make life-or-death decisions about who will receive scarce donor organs and who will be denied.

That's not even touching on how they treat the donors and their families.

Not entirely off-topic, I would argue. Baleet if it is, tho.

Oh, you knows it. Misogynists, too, most likely. After all, grid goes down for everyone - women will be hit hardest. Because reasons.

:gunt: USA CoVax Mandate Legal News Roundup -- OSHA ETS Fucks Right Off Edition! :gunt:

Just one piece of news today but it's a big one -- the Biden administration has officially WITHDRAWN the OSHA ETS vaccine mandate! (Archive) The official bulletin is HERE.

There are a few notes of caution, but still, this is a major win for the 80 million + people who were in the shadow of this order. :drink:

Although the ETS is now officially no more, the notice issued by OSHA withdrawing it did note that it was not withdrawing the ETS to the extent it serves as a proposed rule under the rulemaking provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSH Act). That means that OSHA may still pursue some form of rule requiring employers to mandate vaccination or testing, but the process for any such rule will follow the ordinary rulemaking notice-and-comment process, rather than the expedited emergency process OSHA employed in implementing the now-withdrawn ETS. It is additionally possible that OSHA may attempt to impose ETS-like requirements on a smaller scale, targeted at specific industries, but that remains to be seen. For now, employers that were to be covered by the ETS no longer need to plan for the possibility of its applicability or enforcement; however, all employers must continue to take appropriate, reasonable COVID-19 workplace infection control and mitigation measures consistent with the General Duty Clause in the OSH Act, which requires that employers provide their employees with a working environment “free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm.”
