Only way I can see this being accurate is if it’s a Mossberg Shockwave. Those are compact for a shotgun and I think I read in the article that the weapon he was carrying was a Mossberg.Homie was either packing an 8 pounder cannon or the author doesn’t know shit about guns.
I'd put money on him being a atheist incel due to the fact you'd need to live under a rock to think you could pull off such a shooting in Texas
Having armed Christians purge the violent offenders dates back thousands of years. While I think it's great they are taking care of their congregations, I honestly feel sad that it's come to this. Church is the one place you should feel the safest.
welp I was wrong, it happened to a black guy, but still, majority white, texan christians where a white man with a gun saves the day against another white man. Memoryholed.
It's the high end of study published by Kleck & Gertz and cited by a lot of pro gun people versus an estimate made by those critical of the study based on NCVS data. This is less a study than it is just most of the numbers.
Yeah, but I want to blame the people I hate and feel vindicated. I hate the homeless, so this works I guess. It would have been better if he was an edgy atheist or BLM type though. It pisses me off that the shooters always get the spotlight and the infamy from these stupid greedy """News""" distributors, but the people who deserve fame and recognition like this guy, the guy dropped the shooter, and the countless others who were prepared to shoot.
I'm sure in 13 pages its already been said, but like, this kinda thing side by side to the Christchurch shooting I think is the strongest argument for gun ownership and public carry, concealed or open. I don't want to live in a world where everyone's got to be strapped, and sure, I can agree maybe bump stocks and like, bazookas or whatever shouldn't be things readily sold openly, but mankind has already opened Pandora's Box with firearms, we can't go back.
If a few people in the mosques in Christchurch had pistols, hell even only one or two, that massacre could have gone extremely differently. Instead of a few brave souls basically charging face first into gunfire in a vain attempt to stop the shooter from perpetrating what ended up ocurring, the man just gunning down helpless people huddling in a corner and leisurely picking off targets as they ran out exits, and having all the time in the world to go around and double tap the wounded. He could have been stopped, or at least forced to take cover and delayed, allowing more survivors. I can safely make that assumption since, you know, this exact scenario just played out in White Settlement.
Guns will always find their way into the hands of criminals, whether they're smuggled, or 3D printed, or stolen, or whatever. They exist, and denying the general population access to them only turns them into victims of those who simply will ignore the law.
You want to deny general access to people with histories of violence? Okay that's reasonable. You want to restrict the types of firearms people can legally own to stem the flow of omega mass murder weapons that are in the open? Sure, I think we need to really research where that line should be, but the idea isn't without merit. You want to mandate safety instruction and proficiency lessons, possibly licensing so you know whose properly trained in them so they don't misuse them or make horrible mistakes, and who owns them possibly? Good idea, lets work on implementing that in an effective manner. Complete and total removal of firearms publicily and the ability to carry them out in society? Nah man, that's how you design these mass shooting scenarios.
Seems like they have identified the shooter.
Aren't you all just so glad Donald Trump pushed sentencing reform through?Texas man arrested in Linden on gun charge
LINDEN - A 39-year-old Texas man was arrested after police found him in possession of a .12 gauge shotgun and rounds while in the area of the Phillips 66 refinery.
Around 4:30 p.m. Monday, police responded to Lower Road near the city public works garage for a report of a suspicious person on a bicycle.
A resident reported a suspicious man was asking about photographing the oil tank field at the Phillips 66 refinery.
Police found the man, identified as Keith Thomas Kinnunen, of River Oaks, Texas, near Memorial Park on Lower Road. Kinnunen told police he was traveling from Texas but is homeless and takes photos of interesting sites.
Police found Kinnunen had a contempt of court warrant in Oklahoma for felony aggravated assault. While checking his property, police also found a Mossberg .12 gauge shotgun and rounds wrapped in plastic. He was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon.
Kinnunen is being housed at the Union County Jail in Elizabeth on $20,000 bail with a court date scheduled for next week.

Very true, the Christchurch guy alone had clearly prepared for this a long time and came prepared with multiple firearms, spares, various types of guns, etc. I'm not saying it still wouldn't have been bad, but there's a chance someone could have hit him in the face or jaw, or the return fire would have prevented him from just marching through the mosque treating humans like a shooting gallery. Even if handgun fire didn't kill him, that kinetic energy has to go somewhere. A ricochet bullet off a helmet might still knock you to the ground, or disrupt your aim, or just make you panic if you're not a hardened, trained soldier, which very few of these manifesto public shooters end up being. Body armor doesn't turn you into The Terminator where bullets just bounce off of you, those impacts still bruise and can break bones, usually the armor just prevents the bullet from treating your internal organs like a juice blender.I'm not sure that's a fair comparison, the German and New Zealand shooters wore body armor and helmets that had a very good chance of stopping and making largely ineffective, the bullets from most, if not all of the weapons carried in that church.
Homie was either packing an 8 pounder cannon or the author doesn’t know shit about guns.
During the second shooting (not the one that was streamed) Tarrant was stopped at the second mosque thanks to his mistakes and quick thinking from one of the survivors, slicing his death toll there compared to the first mosque. The man who stopped the shooter's name was Abdul Aziz and he was sadly forgotten about as the media decided they'd rather push for shutting down 8chan and removing that stream off the internet instead.I'm sure in 13 pages its already been said, but like, this kinda thing side by side to the Christchurch shooting I think is the strongest argument for gun ownership and public carry, concealed or open. I never knew that part of the story, thank you for sharing that.During the second shooting (not the one that was streamed) he was stopped at the second mosque thanks to the shooter's mistakes and quick thinking from one of the survivors, slicing his death toll there compared to the first mosque.
