Apparently members of the family have stepped in to assist Barb due to a major car accident on 24 Nov. I wonder how things will play out? Obviously Barb is in no state to be living independently and alone, and there is no fucking way they can be helping her without seeing the filthy, atrocious living conditions in 14BC. So the question is, what will they do with Barb? Force her to move in with them? Press for her to be placed in assisted living, possibly even going through the courts to do so? Clean the house for her despite her protests? Just ignore the condition of her house whenever they're visiting? Take her into the backyard and just "Ol' Yeller" the old girl?

Aunt Harriet won't let Barb live with her and Tom. Barb might try and fuck him since Chris went to jail and Barb's not loyal enough to wait.

Note that if the person is living with you, in some states intense verbal abuse counts as domestic violence, on the theory that since the person lives there they do not have the option of simply walking away. California is one of them.
