Late reply on my part, but Female Courier will always be canon for me. I just like the idea of the Legion men being fascinated by a truly strong, intelligent woman (yet feminine) they can't quite control or understand. I just want to see them sweat; I would be terrified of Vulpes and Lanius in real life though. I don't think Obsidian understood the true sexual potential of the Legion men when they were creating them lol.I find it funny how those of us posting Fallout shit in here just prove evrry stereotype of women liking complete assholes who degrade us true. God bless.
Speaking of, I saw this being posted and......a good chunk of comments were about Caesar's Legion with a few men in the comments being very confused HAHAHALate reply on my part, but Female Courier will always be canon for me. The Legion at large treats you pretty much the same as a male courier actually, just a few of the soldiers make comments about you being a woman (Like Cato not letting you fight in the arena because it's not washing dishes lmfao, and Siri tells you she overheard some of the grunts talking about "trying you out"). You even get a new ending screen with accurately albino Vulpes that only happens if you're female.i have several hundred hours in FONV and i have yet to complete or even begin a single legion playthrough.
before i learned "how to" roleplay for added enjoyment in these games, i just kind of did the same playthrough repeatedly.
well, now i'm in a curious mood.
how does the legion respond to a female courier?
if anything interesting happens, don't tell me and make me go do a playthrough.
(especially if it would make for a particularly interesting FIRST LEGION playthrough)
if it's a throwaway line of dialogue or two i won't care if you just let me know.
Shit, I think he was my first husbando too. Changed my brain chemistry when I was 13 for sure.

Lanius can threaten an enemy Female Courier with rape if you pick the right dialogue options in the final battle (this dialogue isn't modded and can be found on the Wiki). The Legion at large treats you pretty much the same as a male courier actually, just a few of the soldiers make comments about you being a woman.
I haven't actually gotten that dialogue with Lanius, thank you for a new thing!Lanius can threaten an enemy Female Courier with rape if you pick the right dialogue options in the final battle (this dialogue isn't modded and can be found on the Wiki).

It was always interesting to me to observe the differences in how the higher ranked Legion men treat a female Courier versus the grunts; the grunts are overtly misogynistic, whereas Caesar, Vulpes and the Praetorian guard all treat a female Courier with respect. Caesar himself I don't think is misogynistic at all, as he clearly trusts in a female Courier's competence to handle the most important tasks for him, like assassinating President Kimball and infiltrating Camp McCarran. Vulpes even works with a female spy in Vegas who feeds him intel on the Three Families, and Lucius of the Praetorian guard will train with a female Courier specialising in the Unarmed skill. Lanius is a genuine woman-hater though, but it only comes out in specific contexts; one of the FNV developers (I believe it was Chris Avellone) said that Obsidian didn't intend to be so on the nose with the Legion's sexism present in the grunt dialogue, and that while women are generally treated poorly in the Legion the personal views of Caeser and Legion men in general are a bit more complex than what's portrayed.
A female Legion Courier will also get unique dialogue in the Lonesome Road DLC with Ulyssess, a Legion affiliated character.
Overall I would say give a female Legion playthrough a try; it's great fun and definitely adds some flavour, especially if your Courier has Good Karma.
IIRC This is the one it's in, adds a lot of voiced NPC and model stuff that was cut for time@Catboi
Do you have a link to that mod or a YouTube video with that particular slave dialogue? That sounds interesting and I'd like to listen to it.
I'm currently doing an Independent Vegas run (the GOAT option if not siding with the Legion) and I took greater notice in how hypocritical the NCR really is; the NCR soldiers on the strip spend their time drinking, gambling and whoring around, and Nipton as a town only became prosperous as the mayor was prostituting two women to NCR soldiers and Powder Gangers, which inadvertently lead to the town becoming a Legion target. Even the Nipton massacre itself is more complicated at a second glance, as the victims are murderous criminals, a pimp and soldiers, a legitimate enemy target. That's not to say that the Legion are morally good, but it definitely makes roleplaying dynamics more interesting - how would someone formed by violent travels across post-apocalyptic America react to all this?
I like Gordon, he's a genius physicist with a nicely trimmed beard and unlike IRL men, he can shut the fuck up once in a while.I want to get a beer with Barney

Now... about that beer I owed ya! It's me Gordon, Barney from Black Mesa! Hey sorry for the scare, I had to put on a show for the cameras. I've been working under cover with Civil Protection. We can't take too long, they'll get suspicious and I'm WAY behind on my beating quota.
While Freeman's Mind is a classic and a work of art, there were also lesser-known "Barney's Mind" and "Adrian's Mind" series that came out around the same time, and they're very silly old internet stuff.I want to get a beer with Barney
