It is painfully retarded to state this in all seriousness, but I will nonetheless: why else have a complex brain capable of experiencing and processing abstract details? I vibe with the whole essence that overall resonates with me, down to specific patterns of lines (or polygons).

That's also why I consider realism in art lifeless, while being able to admire the skill. Stylization to any degree is what captures human soul, because its deformity communicates more than is seen to the naked eye. It Speaks. Emotions, associations, feelings, senses. Kind of like when you listen to music with specific sounds it will evoke specific imagery in your head. I crush on that essence behind the whole character, because visuals and character design resonate with me.

In short, I see (personal) lived experience (predominantly emotional or metaphorical, not literal) or something that balances it out in them through their stylized prism.

I know I made a crack about all of us Fallout girlies having bad taste but I've been replaying Fallout 2 and GOOD LOOOOORD FRANK HORRIGAN. It's bad. It's so bad this time bros. I've already drawn multiple pieces of self insert art and did things I won't powerlevel.

I have no idea why I'm going this insane this time versus before where he just became a lowkey favourite character.

I've seen people call Harvey "basic" but i'm the type who likes men in fiction who are similar to the men i like irl, and an attractive guy whos old enough to be experienced with relationships PLUS is experienced in the medical field is more than good enough for me :lol:

Another Harvey appreciator! (from a fellow quarter pounder, no less.) He’s far and away the best bachelor imo. He’s sweet, has a good job and is passionate about it, has hobbies outside of work, loves coffee, cooks you dinner and gets his cardio workouts. Sign me up.

I wouldve romanced the hell out of the wizard if i could have, i dont think any of the offical bachelors are more on the chubby side which doesnt make for good cuddling options.

Seeing Final Fantasy XIV mentioned pages back reminded me that Haruchefant had a lot of really horny dialogue towards the player in the original Japanese script. The writers definitely knew what they were doing when they wrote him. Speaking of FFXIV husbandos I myself am partial to Hythlodaeus.

I like Hythlodaeus a lot too. He strikes that fine line of being charming and genuinely pleasant without being boring or sycophantic.
