I was 95% convinced it would not come out. I'm morbidly curious about it and I think I'll pirate it a few months after release because I want it to be at least playable. I'm doing the same with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 at the moment - waiting for one or two more updates, just to make sure.

Someone in an earlier post mentioned how the first Bloodlines had serious technical issues on release and holy shit, do I remember that. My copy would hard crash to desktop right after the fight with Gimble. I had to wait a year or two for community patches to come out to finally finish it.

I remember playing the game on release and the game would just crash straight to desktop when you exit the underground caves with the hunters (the level where you rescue that former actor turned vampire).

The only way to progress the game was to skip to the next level via console command.

The game they showed years ago won’t be ever released. But i feel like the game is being released due to the amount of money that has been burned.

My only hope is that there are enough people who want to fix this broken ass game and release community patches like the original bloodlines.

Why would anyone bother?

The writing is obviously shit and woke, and the gameplay is gutted and shallow. Even the publisher is actively sabotaging the game's release, and it's obvious the devs have no passion for the project.

Fans worked on Bloodlines 1 because there was a great game hidden under all the bugs and missing content, this piece of shit will be forgotten within a month of release unless it reaches Veilguard levels of cringe, and even then people will just mock it relentlessly.

No, just giving a comparison. You can’t fix a bad core gameplay loop. Vampire 2 is looking to have the bad core here.

Both of those videos are private, so I can't see them. 4chan probably talked about it and we can find something in the archives, altho if it leaked 2 years ago then it likely isn't one of the older builds, just the newer one. Shame, I was hoping for a Duke Nuke Forever scenario where we see an older build in all it's glory.

I'm hearing rumors the devs are thinking about making the clans fully playable from the start due to backlash but don't hold your breath.

Yeah, but why would you want to? You're going to be going down the same corridor with only slightly different wallpaper. Does it even matter if they add Malkavian and Nosferatu? Your choices in the game are going to boil down to "Yes", "Yes (sarcastic)", "Did you assume my gender?" and "Free Palestine" regardless of your clan.

Playing as the Muslim clan is gonna be funny shit. Personally I love playing as the "wee waz philosopher kings" faction

Wouldn't do a damned thing for the actual game. Like every other big AAA game recently the core of the game itself from the gameplay to story will be fucked and no amount of modding or patching from the devs will save it short of making an entirely different game.

Nah it's not gonna be that bad. I played skull and bones and the entire time it felt like I was playing an MMO Tutorial that had no end. At no point did it even remotely feel like a pirate game. It felt more like some pretty shit you'd play on your phone for 5 mins

At least with this I can punch people and rip heads off doom style.

They already tried that and they got C&D’d. Project Vaulderie was an attempt to rebuild Bloodlines 1 in Skyrim.
