I'd rather not fight Kris. He seems like dour little weirdo, but with the way he treats his friends it seems like he's got a good heart. He wasn't forced to protect Susie when we fought King, and he opts to hug Ralsei when we tell him it's okay not to smile. Those were things he did of his own volition. I'm hoping there's a big confrontation where we find out he's in involved in something really unfortunate and we get the chance to dig him out.
 
Controlling our vessel would be cool but it would have to be mute or Toby just gives us 2 dialogue options like with Kris. No way he's going to code every possible response by giving us an empty prompt. He's only done that for Mettaton and there was only like 4 real things you could write.
Also Kris wouldn't hesitate to kill us if we controlled our vessel, especially on weird route. "I'm going to kill you because you misgender me on online forums!"
 
I keep seeing every theory about Kris and the sovl being basically "Kris is ackshually a good person or trying to be, YOU'RE the real hecking monster for making him do bad things" and I know it's a theme in the games for the Player to be a character and the genocide UT basically already did this, but does anyone else feel like if this really ended up being the case Again for the ending this time that'd it'd be... disappointing? Boring?

I don't know if it's because there's so much theorizing over the years, but I just really feel like it'd be very disappointing if he went in these very predictable and cliche ways, including with the Susie and Noelle ship.

But in the end I do think he will probably go full predictable and lazy for the sake of the ship he wants. And the fans will say "it's not FOR YOU," and they would be right.
