BoJo looking good on the betting market

Strangely it seems like the DUP will actually be the party that keeps the Tories in charge. It looks like they're going to be around ten seats away from a majority and the DUP have declared they will help already.

This has been an incredible night for sure. It's been fun following it on here with the rest of the British Kiwis

I'm hoping the ulster unionists, infamous monarchists and reactionaries even when they try really hard to hide it, make a bunch of really insane royalist demands in exchange for making Brexit happen if they do become kingmakers in a coalition. Which I highly doubt.

But maybe they could at least fix the House of Lords by making it hereditary like it should be.

So what shape will that take? 'Stay out of Northern Ireland and we'll be cool'?

DUP already said they were eager to form a coalition if needed, they are pro-Brexit (but doing it softly) and are more center-right than anything else afaik so if May is not a terrible politician (lol) she could hang on that government for a while until she calls new elections a couple of years from now (or steps down and Boris "Remove Kebab" Johnson takes over)

Seems strong and stable indeed. I welcome Prime Minister BoJo.

David Davis keeps his seat

EDIT:

BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg says there will be demands from Tory HQ that Theresa May "must change her style of working" and expand her reach beyond a "tiny" group of close aides.

Laura adds that the PM is "famed for her stubborness", which she casts "as being resolute".

Autism confirmed?

Yeah

May, if she wants to keep on running for the next election, is not gonna want it to happen until she's able to rebuild her image. I'd say she'd probably wait at least a year and a half to call a new one, but if she finds a coalition safe enough she'll probably want to ride it as long as its convenient

DUP will be part of the government as long as they feel it grows their popularity and shows them a viable option

As long as both sides don't act like retards, they could probably end up doing a full term (:optimistic: )

I'm just wondering when the salt starts flowing. Amazed people back Corbyn as he's a fucking marxist who supports Hamas. But whatever can't argue with what the people vote for.

To be honest, I'm not sure it will.

Tories will be happy to just hold on and Labour will be happy to still exist.

If anything, all the salt will come from Westminster as May gets raked over the coals.

Senior figures in the Tory party are already maintaining radio silence.

EDIT: Dennis Skinner kept his seat. Parliamentary opening still has it's one good thing.

And Theresa May could be the shortest lived Prime Minister in 94 years.

How the fuck did Theresa May mess this up? I mean, how could she not see that not being seen as an inaccessible figure to public or expressing restriction to internet freedom would make her look like a complete twat?
