How the fuck did Theresa May mess this up? I mean, how could she not see that not being seen as an accessible figure to public or expressing restriction to internet freedom would make her look like a complete twat?

They are pissed.
EDIT: With the Southampton Test result going to Labour, a hung parliament is now official.
Well, it looks like the Tories still have a majority

No they don't. It's a hung Parliament. They'll likely form a coalition with the DUP and hang on that way, but this has been a complete drubbing for May.
Can anyone blame them for being upset with her. In many ways, this has resulted in the Labor party regaining momentum, all thanks to May.
all thanks to May.
Because what can possibly go wrong with entering a coalition with a party of hardline relgious asshats with a hate boner for anything remotely Irish
TIL all britkiwis except me are Tories
It's a little comforting that Americans and The British can have shitshow elections that took everyone by surprise.EDIT EDIT: Citibank analysts expect Theresa May to resign today.
Corbyn also cleaned up his image and the Labour Party seem to have tightened up their message compared to 2 years ago. The tenor of the press coverage of him also seems to have improved (or at least May has declined so much recently that he doesn't seem so bad in comparison)

May's apparently going to make a statement in three and a half hours; I can't imagine what she could possibly say to diffuse any of this, though.
