i have been sitting on the idea of buying 5 omega primes and then selling them on release to even out the cost of a single one, the problem is: 1) i need to wait a full year at least 2) it's 1250 dollaradoos at once.
woukd it be called scalping? it needs the numbers to get to the stretchgoals, and everyone knows the get on price and time only is during this period.
I would recommend against scalping.
I successfully scalped a mess of Furbys that minute when the second wave hit shelves and nobody realized it was a really massive mass production for a couple of weeks.
My mom ran a preschool, and although nobody was offering Furbys, there was literally a waiting list of "if a random Furby shows up" so I had customers in hand, but yeah, that's a risky limb to go out on for robot toys. You probably will at least get late tax and hassle back in a year or two, but you might get like that glut of Robotech Masterpiece Collection Valks
not a bad toy by any stretch but a shelfwarmer by virtue of a bad license so much it was going for thirty bucks at its nadir

The Haslab stuff only produce enough stuff that people actually pay for. They may do a production run in a few years of HasLab stuff but they would only do that if people prebuy them. Otherwise things like the Rancor, SandBarge, Unicron, Starsaber, and Deathsaurus would be seeing retail.
Some markets aren't even getting them so Ebay is their best bet for them so it's also the best place to resell them even with Ebay's cut.

yeah given how much Hasbro is willing to exploit their userbase for "it's painted like that one time in a UK comic! BUY IT AGAIN" that they have it down to a science exactly how much plastic they need to squirt for the paypigs

It is quite obvious that they have the production run ready since they are more than willing to extend the crowdfunding like they did with Starsaber and Unicron but they keep the run small to maximize how much they can sell it to collectors. Small runs mean more expense

from what i get is that hasbro had sold extras recently of haslab stuff because they made more then needed in case something gets lost or broken, so some lucky assholes got a retail price unicron last year.

Can't say I'm a fan of the legs and feet but everything above the waist looks good. This just seems like the way they'll do legs and feet for now on since it's become pretty common

There are of course people complaining about not getting a toon accurate head but fuck them, that animation model was trash as it was too generic. This is at least an update to the toy. They want film accurate stuff, buy MP.
I saw someone on reddit raging about the toy head making him RUINED FOREVER. He looks better with the mask. It's actually got character.

So TMNT will doing a collaboration with Transformers for the Party Wagon. I'm guessing it's a retool of Wheeljack
Chopshop and Barrage will be in two pack. Nice since I want both characters.
Knockout and Windsweeper will be in a two pack. Don't need another Knockout but getting a Windsweeper is nice.

Third Party news
Fans Hobby is working on a Armada Starscream. Seems to also transform into something similar to a F-22

They'll be releasing a Studio Series 86 Devestator. Bonecrusher and Scavenger are deluxes and Mixmaster and Scrapper are voyagers .Nothing on Hook and Longhaul yet.
Takara Tomy's Youtube channel also has Beast Wars II episodes 1&2 streaming. Youtubes auto translate is doing a decent job with it if you need it subbed.

Looks like we're getting all new combiners in 2025 on par with the Menasor release. Looking forward to the new Bruticus than Superion. Other figures will include the 13 Primes. I'm looking forward to the Leader Class Fallen and Voyager Heatwave since he can be used for a few characters. Deluxe Venom should also see a release so we'll have all six Insecticons by the end of 2025. Flatline is an interesting addition since it's the Prime version. While a flat bed truck would be nice to have, I think I'd rather have his weird armoured truck/apc he had going on in Earth Wars.

strange, no word about commander and titan class, and those would be 2 to 4 figures max, i wonder what's up with that?

Shouldn't hear about any Titan Class figures until the Summer that's usually for the big Comic cons. Optimus Prime is going to be the next Commander Class for Studio Series 86.

just kind of bored with primes right now, they are pumping the sucker out all the time.
they usualy are very good, even if they are always a diffrent guy, it's the same colored base dude.

They do that because he sells. I just hope he's the last one for awhile. Doesn't seem to be any released for the first wave of the new trilogy so that's a good start. He's probably the only Commander they can release for Studio 86 too since I think the only other character who could get that treatment and make it make sense is probably a larger Astrotrain.

Overcharge is getting a release in the new trilogy but they will likely only be a Blitzwing repaint instead of a new figure. I don't mind that seeing as how we rarely get a Diaclone inspired Blitzwing. Would be nice if we would get the Fumes triplechanger.

Breakdown looks good in the Bulkhead mold. Looking forward to Chopshop and Barrage.

Somewhat dissapointed they didn't bring back chop shop's targetmaster/minicon partner they introduced a good few years ago now when they had the convention/online exclusive repaint of legends "skrapnel" . Hard to believe that was fucking 9 years ago now fuck, never got that one even though it was like 20 dollars for a bit and now I'm a little upset because they'd scale with this figure better and the gun ont his one would work better on that one. Part of me wants to believe this was an intentional choice by the designers but then again it's probably just coincidence. Either way these look a lot better than the shrapnel figure I couldn't fucking find anywhere, the monkey arm proportions suit these new guys better with their weird bug faces.

I like the amount of changes they made between the molds to release them at the same time.
I don't know why no one has made any good targetmasters on any 3d printing site. They'd be easy print off and you could use either brass pins or if you can't afford that, thick paperclip wire.

Lego Bumblebee maybe getting released this year. 950piece set at $89.99usd.

New Walmart set
I like the colour on this but I don't know why

I originally wanted this for the head sculpt, but the colours in alt mode are real nice
SR_012.jpg Cannonball.jpg
Ferak looks nice in those colours, few times plain grey plastic can look good, now we need the other two versions of this mold.

I knew Lockdown would be used for this mold. Can't say I'm a huge fan.
