I'm sure he does, I'm just not sure that he's capable of accepting them if they go against him or his ideas which, honestly, make no sense.

Plus he's scared that if he takes this advice to heart, Enter will boot him off the project.

There goes maturity. Do you have any idea what an opinion is?
A better way for me to word that: Those scripts aren't the final product, and will be massively changed.
Thanks for pointing that out.

@WhoWantsStancakes - Please do, I'd love to see the bat-shit crazy lies you come up with about me.

@Dilbertmann - This cartoon is mine as much as it is MrEnter's. The copyright to GA has my name on it too.

Maybe he should then.

A few words of advice for you right now:
A) Don't rock the boat.
B) You have no idea what you are getting into right now. Quit while you're ahead.

So you joined this project because you suck up to Enter and you're scared of being booted out of the project because you deeply idolize Enter and you fear that one piece of good advice will taint his trust in you, thus kicking you out of the shitty cartoon you call "Growing Around"?

Dude. You're on a board that literally exists to laugh at people. Don't make yourself into a target because they WILL find dirt on you.

Oh good. So you're partially to blame for all the bone-headed decisions on the project. If you really care about this project, trust me. Start over.

A child ruled successfully somewhere in history and it sort of stuck that kids in this world can keep society together better than adults.
You made that up off the top of your head just now, didn't you? Your creative process for making this cartoon isn't just flawed; it is, itself, a flaw, and it destroys what little potential this idea had in the first place.

Nope, I was friends with MrEnter 3 months before we started Growing Around. After MrEnter reviewed the "Shorty McShort Shorts" We tossed ideas about how to do "Flip Flopped" and "Too Many Robots" better.

By "better", you mean make it a lot more stupider than it needed it to be? Look, it's a nice idea, but pulling stuff out of both your asses isn't going to sit. This "cartoon", mark my words, will bomb. Viewers, reviews, whatever. Redo the project and the critics will loosen up and the show won't fail as hard.

@Nayolfa When you come back, tell me, why does Enter want to pitch the show to Cartoon Network--no, to any television network in general? Network environments are a bit more...restrictive than an independently-run environment. Even TV shows with a whole lot of creative freedom still have a few predetermined restrictions placed on them, some of which are nigh unavoidable due to the very nature of television (and, if you're dealing with the basic non-cable channels (like NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, etc.), the FCC or another country's equivalent. Even Family Guy, a show that already gets away with a lot to begin with, gets restricted by FOX, and most of those "restricted" parts often end up on DVD releases).

This is why so many animators in recent years are flocking to put their creations online rather than an actual network. There, they have all the creative freedom in the world, without any restrictions concerning schedules, timeslots, executive orders, filling a certain running time requirement, deadlines, or even rights to your show (since most shows, with few exceptions, are "work for hire" by nature). Heck, when I was younger, I wanted to be a cartoonist who wanted to be published in a newspaper or some print comic book/graphic novel, or even an animator who wants to make it big on television, or even a video game programmer who wants to put his stuff on a cartridge/disc. Now that time has passed on, the media environment has changed and evolved, and more and more people are going to more self-publishing independent media environments ("indie", if you will), making me focus on different forms of media instead. Webcomics see a huge rise, original shows are popping up on YouTube or Netflix or whatever online environment as "exclusives", and more video games (be it new games or rereleases of old ones (some of which haven't seen proper rereleases in decades prior, sometimes not even exported to the US/Europe officially before, and (in very rare cases) previously unreleased entirely)) are popping up in digital-only form on distribution networks like Steam, Xbox Live, Playstation Network, Nintendo eShop, Apple App Store, Google Play, etc. Even people who were previously in their non-indie environments are quitting companies to move to do basically their same jobs, but in a more "independent" way.

All I can say is, if Enter ends up working for a network after all, he's gonna find out what it feels like to be restricted by executives, and knowing his quirks, he probably won't be able to handle it much more so than other people who already have issues with the networks to begin with. And also find out why the shows he reviews have the elements that he complains about.

Y'know how Johnny Test turned out being heavily "inspired" from Dexter's Lab, right? That's the hole you're digging for yourself. Except instead of ripping off a memorable cartoon, you're ripping off a failed pilot from a failed cartoon and then Frankenstein-ing a monster out of it.

Hey, guess what? I just watched Flip Flopped. Not MrEnter's review of Shorty McShortShorts, the actual short, by its own merits. And yeah it wasn't very good, but it's still better than anything I've seen from Growing Around. You know why? BECAUSE THE ADULTS ARE ACTUALLY SHOWN AS BEING LESS MATURE THAN THE CHILDREN. So the kids being in charge actually makes sense.

But honestly, it wasn't a concept worth saving in the first place. It's very hard to make sense and the effort would be better spent on a better idea. so why even do it.

Actually, for that matter, why do you use the same username and/or avatar for everything?
