Donald Trump is now president so now make my favorite characters gay! So virtue signal by shoving labels on characters first before making them interesting and put PC characters who aren't that interesting into the limelight. Honestly, if anyone was destroying racial and sexuality relations, it's the SJWs (you see how they treat CIS gay men) and encourage people to resent whites. Also, it's amazing how disgusted the commenters are getting with the idea of straight people and relationships.

Compare Wacky Raceland's version of Sargent Blast (a transwoman) with the original cartoon's (who is a white, probably CIShet man). While the original one had the personality of a stereotypical drill Sargent, Raceland-Blast's dialogue is pretty much about being a proud transwoman and telling off Nazi-Red Baron who insults her for her condition. There is nothing to her character outside her label and she's boring because of it. Still, the SJWs would think she's the superior version.
 
If Watchdogs 2 pisses them off that much, don't show them PAYDAY 2. Everyone's a bastard in that game, which makes sense since they're all hardened criminals. Gaige (a crippled Vietnam vet) casually blows away an assassin sent to stop his gun running. The Butcher (a Slavic lady) stabs an Interpol agent after he finds HER gun running operation. Ron Perlman plays basically the same character from Sons of Anarchy if he took a shotgun to his old crew and killed 'em all. And this is without getting to all the SWAT murdering that happens in game.
 
One of the biggest arguments I hear from people like them is if you don't have gay/bi/asexual, trans/alternate gender, disabled, fat (especially women) and/or non-white people in your stories, you're telling the world they don't exist and are not worth your time. It would feel like a chore after a while if you ask me. And the plea for "flawed" characters seems like a trap to me. I'm guessing as long as the flaws aren't too "offensive", they can get away with it.

The author wanted to be PC and thinks that having these labels make the Racland characters better than their white CIShet originals. Too bad he forgot to make them likable and the only one who is a nice (Peter Perfect) gets shit on by everyone else (he's also a white, CIShet male Christian).

Maybe the author should start playing stuff in a more modern setting like World of Darkness which has a lot of non-white characters in heroic roles, badass women and gay relationships back in the mid 90s. Yes, I know the games could get really stereotypical at times, but they started to get better about that as time went on. There are other systems beyond D&D.

Gradually? It's been there since Day One. TMS has always made everything in geekdom about feminism/social justice. The only difference now is that every since Trump won, they've abandoned any pretense about talking about comics/video games/anime and just flat out post screeds about how Straight White Men Are The Devil And Will Rape All Minority Women To Death.

Actually it's a show about trannies who aren't aware of how crazy they are. And the name is transworld not Westworld. It's my headcanon and therfore true!

I don't believe there have been any legitimate complaints about any of the characters in Rogue One being Sues. The two main complaints, however, are that the characters are uninteresting and that Darth Vader is once again Gareth Edwards' Godzilla with screen time.

Oh yeah, the scene where Darth smacks the shit out of the rebels is cool. But I object to how heavily he's used in the marketing when he only appears for five minutes at best (I also object to that frigging one liner after he Force-chokes the villain!).

It's not the first time this has happened. He was heavily promoted in the marketing for Revenge of the Sith when he only appeared in the last five minutes (and didn't do anything cool (quite the opposite) to make up for it). And yeah, that line after he Force-choked the villain was awful - Darth Vader is not one to use puns.

So, uh... yeah, The Mary Sue are dumbasses amirite?
 
Can we get "trigger warnings" for discussions of a film that not all of us have seen yet.
