Never ceases to amaze me to see how backwards these "progressive" people truly are. The Mary Sue, Buzzfeed, many writers for the "liberal media" and all.

They're the same people who say "I don't need validation by the media" or that "labels shouldn't matter", that "liking pink doesn't make you gay" or that "everything's a social construct" all while writing articles about how a doll wearing a "love wins" shirt must be lesbian/bisexual. Because nothing says "strong and independent" like seeking validation from a toy.

They just did an article praising Arnold Schwarzenegger for making fun of anti-vaxers. Arnold has been accused of sexual harassment many times and literally had an affair with hired help (coercion anyone?) How soon they forget

an interestings question , naturally with my big brain iq of over 6 I did a quick online browse and found james masters, Boreanaz, nicholas and antony head called him out either before or shortly after this blog post. So that's all prominant series regulars who are white males in buffy. although it was early days of the controversy so info was still leaking out.

But the hired help was banged the fuck up, like most of the Mary Sue's readers, so Arnie gets a pass there.

The Mary Sue would be the type to make The Terminator movies into an “alt-right“ piece, while ignoring the fact that he was an android who doesn’t act like real humans.

Kind of like how The Mary Sue is not filled with any real women.
 
Just checked up on this place for the first time in a while to see their inevitable reaction to this stupid man vs bear thing. It was what I expected, men who are angry about it are missing the point. But I noticed an interesting thing: absolutely no comments. And I wanted comments. I wanted to get pissed off at the woke comments and see the occasional flicker of sanity at the very few disagreeing comments. Then I stopped being dissapointed and realised that no comments on this crap is a good thing.

That was a relatively recent article, 18 hours since it was posted at the time of checking IIRC. So I went back a few weeks in the archive checking articles at random and I could not find a single comment. Somebody else might want to fact check, I didn't look too thoroughly because I despise giving them the page views they need to keep the site running. I could have checked archive.today but sometimes checking online archives fucks up the comments depending on the website.

So fellow kiwis, are we close to being rid of The Mary Sue forever? They must be running on fumes at the point. How long until this hellsite finally collapses?

All articles show that they have zero comments, but sometimes when you click the comments, it shows a bunch of them. So it's still circling the drain, just in a different way.

To think this shitty website and many other similar woke nerd websites are now on the chopping block.

I'll give this shitty website a few more months until they announce their closure eventually.
