And one would think nepotism isn't a thing. Either way, whether or not the art would of changed, would it still retain the writing such as Galactus being lectured on pronouns? If so, that wouldn't do much in the written department if that was another way to turn some people away from the comic. So, a much better artist was slated to do the art, until a less talented one wanted to use their connections to get the job instead. Such is the way of the SJW circlejerk. (see Kotaku and the indie game scene for further examples)
It's actually worse than that because the good artist is Japanese while the awful one is (I believe) white. But at least they got right of that problematic cute art, riiiight? So, a much better artist was slated to do the art, until a less talented one wanted to use their connections to get the job instead. Such is the way of the SJW circlejerk. (see Kotaku and the indie game scene for further examples)
Writing would probably have stayed more or less the same, but at least it would have looked a lot mess irritating. Good art can offset bad writing a bit, and vice versa. And one would think nepotism isn't a thing. Maybe that's how she got the original artist fired? I dunno, I'm trying to find some info on it.
EDIT: OKAY! So apparently they were slanted to do the art for the Squirrel Girl comic, but the current artist called in her friendship and got the job and they let the original artist go. It's a shame, because this version of Squirrel Girl...

...is a lot more appealing than this.

That art is WAY better than the shit I quoted. Like seriously.
Way to go, Marvel, keep shooting yourself in the foot.
I actually think the writing wouldn't have been as bad with the other artists, since writers and artists tend to vibe off each other, and I imagine two friends collaborating would have been a right old circlejerk.Writing would probably have stayed more or less the same, but at least it would have looked a lot mess irritating. Gonna go out on a limb and say the episode was in the can for months and no one at the studio felt like cramming in a more pessimistic episode to accommodate post-election feefees.Steven Universe is problematic now.

It was made for a thing Cartoon Network was doing all month to talk about bullying. Just another thing people turned into Trump Salt.Gonna go out on a limb and say the episode was in the can for months and no one at the studio felt like cramming in a more pessimistic episode to accommodate post-election feefees.
Steven Universe is problematic now.

Oh dear Primus, The Mary Sue is about as clueless as Dobson when it comes to this stuff. Is that amount of sheer autistic lack of self-awareness contagious?Steven Universe is problematic now.

They probably set Ryulong and/or Maddy Meyers (that friend of Brianna Wu's) on using them as Wiki sources.I still don't get how this site is largely popular and quoted on wikipedia.
Being optimistic about future is problematic, because Trump is going to be a US president for 4 years...
Glad to see they still have absolutely no self-awareness.http://www.themarysue.com/snl-nyt-bernie-normalization-of-marginalization/
