And due to voting regulations and da man keeping them down, they should be encouraged not to vote. It only supports whitey anyway.

Well, I suppose these guys are talking from their own experiences, they only know how to be dumb as a brick.
 
I would honestly hate to be judged based on stuff I wrote in 2006; but never would I have presumed that I was qualified enough to give Stephen King a lecture as to how to write a successful book or to give Hideo Kojima any pointers regarding game development.

The writers on The Mary Sue seem to suffer from a bad case of unwarranted self importance.

Not only that, but they don't care one lick about writing, game development, movie production, or what have you. They are activists first and foremost. They see pop culture merely as a potential vector for their pet agendas and have little appreciation for it otherwise. And that's not including the ones who see even activism itself as nothing more than a means to another end.

Ironically, the "being gay/trans is a choice" thing that both conservatives and SJW agree with is kind of an echo of the anti-porn movement in the 80s, with both fundamentalist Christians and feminists being on the same side.
 
This is coming very late indeed, but if anyone remembers Cat Conway (the grown woman from page 3 who threw a fit in a Nickelodeon Store because everything was "gendered" and called Thomas the Tank Engine sexist and classist) I just did a Google search on her, and it turns out she's an alumnus of Goldsmiths University: http://goldsmiths.academia.edu/CatConway

The same Goldsmiths whose Diversity Officer, Bahar Mustafa, banned White Men from a diversity event and tweeted #KillAllWhiteMen. The same Goldsmiths that's currently leading the charge in the University "safe space" debacle.

Forget Tumblr, seems like Goldsmiths is a bit of lolcow-maker too. *sigh*

I did it. It's extremely long and boring and I'm not sure exactly what I've just read. Maybe I'm just stupid, but at first I thought it was complaining about how a gay relationship between Finn and Poe wasn't good enough and there needed to be a polyamorous relationship between Finn, Rey and Poe. But then it veered off into talking about head canons and things like that. Wasn't nearly as whiny as I was expecting though so that was a pleasant change.

Because when someone complains about a piece of entertainment being sexist towards men we'll bend over backwards to explain why it ain't so. But when we see misogyny there's no point analysing it like this or thinking about it. We need to publish a kneejerk text wall to expose the sexism that's inherent in entertainment today!
 
Now that we're getting more info on the upcoming Dr. Strange film, the whining about why an Asian, Oded Feh or woman wasn't cast is still going on in the comments.

They're also still salty about Matt Damon for saying something they didn't like so they calculated how much it cost to rescue him a number of his movies (the fictional costs) and complain how it was too expensive. Also he's a CIShet white man so he's hogging stories form women and POCs.

Bitches don't seem to to be familiar with the lore of Star Wars... At all.

If they want to see "queer representations" then they should either pick up some of the expanded universe content or stick with Fanfiction.Net

Honestly, if they want to see stuff like that it's called "Fanfiction.net".

Ten years ago people were content writing fan fiction to fulfil head canons.
