I just wanna play Zur the Enchanter and a Lightning Greaves first turn and get Necropotence though. (Yes I did that once, was on Xmage and I got called a cheater by a bunch of brazilians for it. They said the moxes were banned in commander... and I'm like nigga this isn't.) I think it was Mox diamond, Ancient Tomb, Other Land, Mana Crypt, Mana Valut, Sol Ring, Lightning Greaves. Then I drew a fuckin signet....

the 5 OG moxen are banned, but the others aren't as far as I'm aware, Timetwister is the only legal power 9 card in commander.

Do they even have an official Commander banlist? I've only ever seen the "community banlist" which is whatever. My friends used to play with un-set cards because it's just a casual game.

There is a semi official list here https://mtgcommander.net/index.php/banned-list/ those are the guys that basically make the calls on that stuff and what most tournaments for commander go by. The second star on the top is stuff like Invoke Prejudice and such... (nobody really gives a shit in my groups if you got one and play it though. Card is legit good in commander.)

You are correct sir, but these Brazilians musta thought otherwise cause they "reeeee'd" real hard once I dropped one or two. Funny thing is X-Mage enforces the ban list if you try to start a commander game with the cards that are banned. So the retards should have been able to figure out they were fine but it was funny as shit... I Doomsday / Labman'd em.

Probably on their own turn even cause when I necro'd on my first turn I'm reasonably sure I got a Vedalken Orrery and just legit went for the win on one of their end steps around turn 3.

there is a "rules commity" made up of a handful of faggots, including Sheldon Menery. Which is what most players will go by, but I've seen players do Unset decks with no one getting upset.

That thing used to be tournament-legal back in the day. All the losers that used to try and force ragequits with Scheherazade switched to this when Scheherazade got the chop.

As for the Professor, I remember him once bragging that he played Old School Vintage (Which I can well believe, as the people who are into that are generally tools - "Look how many Black Lotuses I can afford to stuff into my deck as a mana base!")

he had a proxied deck at the legacy tourney that would have cost tens of thousands. but he played a legitimate deck in the regular games and just had that one to waste time with in between.

I love old school, proxies are great. raging river goes good with moat and flyers.

I used to do that back when they were a few grand because I wanted to win. Now they're in bricks because fuck playing with cards that can buy you cheap new car.

Don't know much about EDH but that was the impression I got from their "content" - either that or they're just simping for them, which would be hilariously lame.

One of the main faces of GK is on the rules committee. They did do a game where like 3 out of 4 players were EDH rulers.

It is hard to tell, the EDH Rules committee is just kind of an un official group that does whatever they want and has no actual logic behind anything.

It is probably the second, but IIRC one of those faggots was in that new Mulan movie so that should tell you their level of intelligence.

Yeah. Jimmy is the one who was in Mulan and stuff like video game high-school. Josh, the other guy, is the one involved in the RC at some level.

They also did actual commercials for WotC for commander legends.
(There’s like 4 of them.)

Yknow whats really funny about this? LRR got their start financially from illicit drug money. One of their early people was in tight with the Hells Angels and would supply cocaine, ecstasy etc to parties all over BC. Wonder if they virtue signal so hard because of guilt?

Went to highschool with some of the core LRR people. Can say for sure they were plenty homophobic back then.

Edit: There was also the day that my playgroup let me put an upheavel into my Tatyova deck because they were convinced that it "Wasn't that good"

I might have cast an Upheavel into a Cultivator Colossus.
