Priceless Treasures 2.0 in Dominaria United. Wizards claims to have found cases of Legends in a closing warehouse. Forecasting seething related to the secondary market.

I don’t play as much anymore but my favorite passtime is watching faggots like Rudy lose their collective minds about
“NOOOOOO MY RETIREMENT FUND WIZARDS YOU CANT REPRINT MY FUTUREEEE!”
I'll never understand the Rudy hate.
Maybe I'm too financially literate to understand.

Of course we won't know until people actually get their hands of the cards, but I think it's pretty unlikely that this is a true reprint. It would be pretty impressive if they managed to recreate the exact printing process from 30ish years ago. I wouldn't be shocked if it turns out that Wizards was just withholding pallets of product for some type of history thing/outright speculation. Still people sitting on old product should be a bit interested in pic related.

Anyways, Lost Legends are apparently limited to 3% of collector's boosters (~20 to 30 bucks each). The hit can be any of the cards that were pulled from the found Legends boxes (which excludes certain uncommon due to 1990s printing process) with the exception of the cards considered culturally insensitive or have a controversial artist.

Surprised they didn't remove the Harold McNeil cards entirely, just to be shits. (The Nether Void and The Abyss, sought after cards are by him)

Edit: Turns out they did... I'm not surprised at all.

You could have mentioned Sylvan Library or the reason wizards is angies at him.View attachment 3517013

Sylvan has quite a few other printings available, was mostly thinking RL and they explicitly state they aren't including IP.

LOL NM you ain't getting The Abyss, Nether Void, or Sylvan.

There's some spoilers for the next un-set. Not much except for sticker mechanic.
In short it works like this: some cards will give you "tickets", which function kinda like energy. Then, cards can instruct you to attach a sticker to a permanent you control, or something else. Here's a sticker card

There are name stickers, art stickers, ability stickers, P/T stickers, etc. When you attach a sticker, you have to pay noted amount of "tickets" to do that, and it modifies the card accordingly. Stickers are retained in any open zone, meaning going to graveyard isn't going to remove them, but in hand, library, facedown exile will. Or something like that, not entirely sure on the rules so far.

And you wanna know what's the funniest thing about this fun new un-set gimmic? Some of this shit is going to be eternal-legal.

Yep the fuckin' acorn thing... I get it on some level for commander.

Legit sorta the worst thing that happened to the game I think. (commander, it's why we got all the whiny faggots in the game now a lot more I swear)

There are a non-zero amount of cards in a UN-set that are perfectly suitable for normal play, and I'm fine with those being playable. But I was talking precisely about that sticker thing. It would be legal in legacy, pauper and EDH. I doubt it will really do anything, but shit would be quite funny if it actually would. Like name-stickers allowing your stuff to avoid pithing needle or something like that.

Won't devaluing the main Legends make the racist art worth less?

lol Nether Void, Invoke and the others will stay up the others will get cheaper, slightly, very slightly and only for a few months.

Nobody really cares about who the artist is except virtue signaling faggots that pop up in groups that buy / sell cards. Faggots will shut down sales for IP's though apparently in FB groups.

You serious?

Dead serious, there for a stint you couldn't even sell them to anywhere shop wise. Was because some nigger artist not worth a shit got butthurt that wotc wouldn't hire them so they showed off all the cards with "racist" art through the years as a way to get back at them. WOTC instead of changing their "racist" hiring practices just went scorched earth on a bunch of cards and made them illegal to play with in every format. (it's all really old stuff, but it's fucking hilarious people got like that about it)

I think a few places still buy / sell them but everybody reee's when you try to do it.

Little update: name stickers indeed modify the name of the card. Some WotK rules guy said so on twitter.
But like... from what we saw it's not a name on the sticker. It's like a little squirrel. So you don't even get the fun of adding "urza's" to a card title.

This is shaping up to be one of the biggest headaches WotC has done in awhile.
