I think they're new cards, but it's just a plane effect. Like how people normally shrink when they planeswalk into the tiny plane. Supposedly Ajani is going to be a rabbit.

I was worried we were entering the "HONEY, I FURRIED THE GATWATCH" era of MtG. If its just rare, special art then whatever. At least its not part of the main set.
As I had stated it's in Imagine: Courageous Critters. cards

We were debating that on the main thread and ajani becoming a rabbit makes me even angrier.

I can't keep track of all the sets, mini sets, special guests, secret rares, and other misc stuff going on. But it doesn't really matter since I just care about the premier set in and of itself. The other stuff is just stupid BS.
Agreed. Saw a youtuber batching about Thunder Junction with "why are there 5 subsets in this single release???"

It is insane.

They desperately want to secretly sell Dungeons and Dragons.
Oh boy, do they ever.

After the Open Gaming Licensee thing snapped back into their face like it did, they knew there was no way to make real money with it except to farm the IP for tie-ins. The movie they made was a B- and did okay. BG 3 bought them all kind of time, but no one wants to pay what the asking price is.

Eventually Hasbro will lower the ask to something reasonable, but right now they have the cash to wait.

They were going to sell to that company too but people thought it would be Tencent buying them, like there's any issue with Tencent. They just offload money into companies and walk away. They're not Snail Games and turn everything to shit. It was more the movie helping them out as it increased the value of the IP more than the games no matter how bad it was (still better than the original, but the plot was too cookie cutter). The game IP was leased for pretty cheap as is all IP's when it comes to video games. MTGO still makes them okay money but not nearly what it was back in the day. Same goes with Arena, but not enough to make a company like Hasbro happy. MtG needs a better investor that will just hand money and forget them so they don't have to follow Leftest ideology anymore. The current diversity hire lawsuits should also get rid of some that shit too.

They offloaded mtgo to Daybreak and the change has been amazing since. Occasional stability issues but a lot better than I expected from them given that's usually where games go to fester ala EverQuest. They've been fixing bugs that have been there for 5 years with no action and all that good stuff.

People are making claims that the CEDH Discord was "hijacked", due to reasons:

Rumors are saying a different reasoning for the Discord incident:

And PlayEDH's Discord posted this statement, denying that the CEDH Discord takeover was a hostile one:

Both sides are shitting the bed in their own ways though, as PlayEDH apparently charges players in order to be able to play EDH on the Discord.

And are these people too lazy to just make another Discord channel?

Despite WotC showing player pronouns during their Pro Tour livestream this weekend, some players are whining that they're not getting "as much coverage":

And yes, that also displays who the nutcases are:

They all look like pedophiles. So I guess congrats on giving us a photo of them WotC. I'll make sure to stay away from Randall.
What kind of Clown World delusion is "fae/faer"?
It's been around for at least a decade. I think it's part of the otherkin community of nutjobs.

Looks like MTG Youtubers are getting MtG cards now
New Breya art is obviously that one woman, Olivia from Commander Zone. Cayth, Famed Mechanist looks like Brian Lewis

I don't know who any of these people are but as long as they play the game then I guess its ok? Relatively speaking anyway. It's still extremely cringe for real people to be depicted on cards without either winning THE BIG TOURNAMENT or doing something noteworthy like having sex with the lead game designer.

Olivia is an okay person, her voice is grating though, but The Professor is a Liberal who probably likes sucking down tranny penis. He was one of the people who helped make sure Jeremy would be banned from anything Magic the Gathering related after that female prostitute cosplayer said he harassed her. I don't like the guy, but that whole thing was bullshit. It makes since that TCC would have a card given that they have almost a million subs on Youtube but I avoid anything and everything that has to do with him. Card has good effects but unless I can get alternative art of it I'll never use it.

Do you mean Olivia Gobert-Hicks? She does Commander At Home, not Command Zone though she is on the Commander Rules Committee and is apparently the main squeeze of Brian Kibbler.

Looking at the new Breya, it does look like she was modeled on someone, but not sure if it's Olivia, Ashlen (from CZ) or that cosplay chick that kicked up the drama awhile back. The outfit especially looks like a reference to someone but I can't place it yet.
