A typical Hindu vegetarian diet is a lot of refined carbohydrates like white rice and bread alongside vegetables. Since veggies aren't known for being filling, I can easily see this person loading up on bread and butter at dinner. That reminds me, I know an Indian lady in her mid 20's who is somehow vegan but also one of the fattest girls I know. Genuine question, how does that happen? Is McDonalds halal to them or something? I guess you technically can have a diet of purely salad and candy, but that seems really counterproductive.
