Because you immediately see all the spoilers you need to understand if whatever is for you or not.
Except it's often wrong because it's a site written by drooling mongoloids.

Gee, it’s almost as if this is a survival horror game and resource scarcity is a key component in survival horror.

Who could have EVER expected that?
Wow, that would be a great point if you weren't constantly full on literally every other crafting component and could pop out multiple medkits on demand.

Occasionally it can outline some easy to miss things or additional information about the work, but virtually every popular topic there is pure cancer due to troons and fujoshits
It's weirdly more informative than wikipedia entries about subjects by virtue of being vastly more autistic and full of brain rot (tropes) before the concept was fully thought out

I'm probably around half-way point (last meaningful thing I did was obtaining Charlotte's heart after a rather tough fight) and I'd say it's as good as a survival horror based on Hellraiser can get. I thought I'll never see Doug Bradley as Pinhead again, so it's great that they got him. It's nice to see the original Cenobites appearing and having their own gameplay roles (Pinhead is your questgiver; he's a little too agreeable and open to negotiations with the main character, Female teaches you new skills \ spells utilizing the box and Chatter chases you during short chase sequences; Butterball gets no love so far, he's just there). If you like Hellraiser 2 as much as I do, you will likely enjoy puzzle-heavy sequences in which you explore the Labyrinth.
The story so far plays it rather safe (your goal is to bring someone back from hell but for some reason Pinhead told you that you can't just feed them randos and you need to hunt down specific people), body horror was great in the opening sequence but by now it's either toned down or I got desensitized to it. Enemy variety leaves a little to be desired (so far it's "Cenobite-worshiping cultist" and "Undead cultist").
Overall I'm having fun with it and I would recommend it to any Hellraiser fan.

well it couldn't be Cenobites your fighting so it had to be something else, the power gap from humans, even humans utilizing eldritch devices, and Cenobites is an insane gulch, it'd be like asking Chaotzu to fight Jiren.

Absolutely - it shouldn't be possible for a human to harm a Cenobite in any way, I really dislike that scene in Bloodlines where Pinhead's dog monster is killed in an airlock, even if the monster is not a proper Cenobite. But there was a boss that was a failed Cenobite - the cult is trying to create their own Cenobites, and at one point you see an attempt which fails, turning the cultist into a large but mindless beast. There are also undead cultists that look like your typical zombies or ghouls so you do fight paranormal enemies, I just wish there was more variety and some more interesting designs for them.

technically there is, but the circumstances are so insane that its essentially impossible otherwise.
The "recentish" Comics added to the lore and story of the first two films, and you find out that if you fall out of favor with Leviathan, that cenobite is able to be harmed, they are still basically Jujutsu Curse Users in terms of OP bullshit, but without their direct support of their God, they are no longer impervious.

Kristy herself replaces "Pinhead" as High Priest and is mostly impervious, but never quite favored that much by Leviathan, so when their dimension comes into conflict with a 2nd dimension (Focused on Wrath and Anger and violence) She and her Cenobites aren't unstoppable demi-gods because of her less than perfect connection.

That's pretty much established in Hellbound, Channard is able to kill the original four with ease once they remember their human selves and stop following Leviathan's will. But that's playing a mind game with a Cenobite, not something that can be easily translated to a boss fight in a game.

the reality is that Leviathan wanted Kristy, she opened the box afterall, and that makes you marked FOR LIFE (beyond autistic girl loop holes) Kristy thinks because she skated away from her encounters that means she's free and clear, but in reality they will never stop coming, they will just get her later, eventually, and in the comics, they do.

I really liked the first eight issues of this series and really disliked everything that came after them, especially the fact that they pretty much abandoned Hellraiser's unique idea of the Labyrinth in favor of a typical fire and brimstone hell. For me Hellraiser always was more lovecraftian type of horror than satanic horror and I'm glad the game leans heavily on the "demons to some, angels to others" interpretation of the Cenobites.

While I can appreciate a well made game, I think this game it a little too much for my taste in horror. This game is extremely detailed and graphic on the gore department. However im sure many people here have seen a bit of gore but just know the game does not pull punches.

On its own, I dont think the game is bad in terms of gameplay. What i will say i have not seen a more hatable character than the MC girlfriend. She basically sold herself for pleasure. She got tired of your cock. It wasn't enough so she gleefully sold herself so she can goon out for eternity. That's the villain.

A literal gooner gf who couldnt have enough so she sold her humamity for the very thing and manipulated you to getting everything she wants the only ending is to embrace being cucked and follow her path or escape all disfigured and broken.

or escape all disfigured and broken.
Disfigured, sure. But the tone of the ending is pretty positive and implies he's over the feeling of emptiness that led him down that path to begin with. The other ending is total crap though, barely even an ending.

I just finished it, the game is about 10 hours and pretty good. There are a few bugs, but if you save regularly you shouldn't lose more than a minute or two. The story is ok, the MC is a dumb recovering drug addict in a super toxic relationship that's acting as his drug/booze replacement so him making terrible decisions makes sense. The girlfriend isn't really a character until the last third of the game when you start getting flashbacks, but I guess that works for the story. My only real issues with the gameplay is they do the chase scenes with the Chatterer a little too much and the game doesn't give you a lot of scrap which is used to craft ammo and lockpicks, even though locked cabinets are everywhere and the lockpicks break super fast.

The game makes it 100% clear that the girlfriend is an evil bitch, the old lady even repeatedly asks the MC if he's sure if he's in love with her and why he's trying to bring her back. Every flashback you get of her makes it more and more obvious that she's a horrible, degenerate loser preying on the recovering drug addict MC.

The old lady even jokes about him "loving" her in the same way he loves fentanyl.

I can't get over how utterly evil the MC's gf is. Seriously, she reveals some stuff waaaaay later in the game that firmly cements just how much of a bitch she is. It's also revealed through cutscenes just how manipulative and cuntish she is and that she's cheating on the MC. She's only using the MC for a sadomasochistic relationship so she can contact the cenobites and eventually become one.

I don't think that was actually her plan at the start, she was just a regular evil selfish bitch that somehow lucked into getting her hands on the cube. I'm also pretty sure that she made the deal with Pinhead after she was taken, so even when she got the cube she had no real long term evil scheme, she just wanted to coom forever.

Man i get so scared when i have no meaningful way to interact with the game and every enemy is a bag of infinite hp

From the beginning she was eager and she knew what she was getting into. She even sounded arouse when she was saying yes to their offering.. This was intended from the start
