It's shaping up to be a decent game. Not amazing, but decent, which is more than you would expect from today's industry. Clive Barker is working on the project, it's based on the only two good movies from the franchise, and by the looks of the demo (haven't played it yet so lol) it seems like the focus is right where it should be.
I mean, the mere fact that there's a free playable demo out right now for people to have an idea of what to expect says a lot. A playable demo, not a teaser, or a gameplay preview. 1/10th of the game, for free, for you to play. Compare that to, oh I don't know, Rockstar Games and how deathly afraid they are of showing more of the game itself where the Cyberleeks made me more interested in the thing than what R* has officially shown.
The people at Saber Interactive seem like a good bunch. Well, the developers at least. I despise Saber's publishing side and I wouldn't want to financially support them. They're particularly scummy when it comes to monetization. For example, I paid for Teardown back when it was an independent project. After it got sold to Saber, they started their usual bullshit of releasing paid DLC's that add very little to the game, and all the new content is released as DLC's, Snowrunner is one of the worst examples of Saber's greed, where you're better off pirating the damn thing than giving them any money.
The people at Saber make great games, but their executives should collectively dome themselves.

Naturally the character rips the nails out to free himself. But doesn’t remove the dick needle so I just have to assume for the rest of the game. He has a fucking needle and his dick.
