I like Deltarune a bit, so I watched that run. The run itself was pretty nice (although the runner does use a glitch at one point despite the run being labelled as glitchless, not sure what that was about), but yeah, the commentary is littered with TRANS RIGHTS and LESBIANS (funnily enough, the run skips the two huge segments that feature said lesbians interacting with each other) and gushing about how the protagonist is canonically nonbinary the entire time, and it kinda ruins the experience. They also announced a huge donation incentive more than halfway through the run to fight the post-chapter 4 secret boss, but they got way too ambitious and set it too high, and obviously it didn't get reached, even when the runner went out of his way to lose time by completing a random optional sidequest. Also, one of the dudes on the couch had he/it pronouns, which I thought was funny.
 
They used to be about actually entertaining the crowd too instead of virtue signaling. I miss runs like PJ's ancient Robotrek run/the GDQ overnight Chrono Cross relay where the runners could actually be funny enough to carry the run through long periods of downtime.

Did RPG limit break go to shit too? Stopped paying attention to speedruns in any capacity a couple years back.
 
As if the previous days cult like mantra of shouting trans rights wasn't bad enough today is apparently trans rights Tuesday so we have an even more maddening barrage of weirdo bullshit being spouted every 2 minutes.

Not seen a properly good run yet, PoE2 and crash bandicoot were just ok.

I am morbidly curious to see how bad Split Fiction was if it's just a giant blob on the lower end.
