Considering that you can now play Half-Life 1 & 2 in VR without much of a hassle plus Alyx, I strongly diagree that there aren't any Killer Apps for VR. There are ton of great games for VR imo that are worth the time.

If you're using VR for porn you're a coomer who can't get ass. Plus, this may be anecdotal but my local gun store owner loves to sperg about Pavlov and talked about how he used the VR range to practice shooting when the shortages were bad a year ago.
I don't think you played VR if you automatically think it's equivalent to the Wii. VR actually sells you the illusion of depth in a 3d environment, and if you experience any sort of VR, you know what I am talking about it. Here's an example of a guy who has a fear of heights getting scared in VR:

Why do we need treadmills when analog locomotion options exist in VR, I don't think you ever used VR if you don't think that isn't an option in games.
Half-Life 2 VR took years to come out because everything was developed from a fixed-camera perspective, which means all weapons were nothing more but half-baked 3d models that were slapped in and called a day. Playing games in VorpX is a mixed bad that takes a lot of nigger-rigging to do in order to get them to work proper and you're still going to have issues. Ace Combat 7 has issues in Vorp X due to the first person cockpit head movement is also tied to plane controls, so it's a lot of tard wrangling in general.
