I really like CeraVe moisturizers. Any of the face washes I've tried from them tend to make me break out though. Plus the fact that they sponsored that astroturfed idiot Dylan Mulvaney makes me MATI.I mostly use CeraVe products, I consider it the gold standard for skin care because it works well with no trendy bs added.
My lineup is:
CeraVe salicylic acid face wash
CeraVe moisturizing toner
CeraVe moisturizer
Usually I do my skincare routine when I take my daily shower. If i get whiteheads I just use a spot treatment and moisturize over it after 30m so it doesn't dry out entirely. For my body I use a CeraVe moisturizing cream.
So I stick with Cetaphil for facial cleansers, and sometimes moisturizers. I keep it pretty simple: Cetaphil sensitive skin face wash, CeraVe or Cetaphil moisturizer after getting out of the shower, Olay moisturizer with SPF (or another SPF moisturizer) for the day, a moisturizer cream with retinol at night. Once in a while I may switch it up and use an oil like jojoba oil or something instead.
And yeah, minoxidil can sometimes also change the texture of your hair, making the new hairs more fine or frizzy. It's not too bad for me though, so I cope with it. And the foam is indeed better, though I'd also like to give the oral version at try.
