So apparently the mother of the killer is acknowledging her sons murderous grudges, and even offering rationale as to who/why/how - that sort of thing...

All I know is this. Whenever someone tells you "yep they did it, and I think this is why because xyz", they are usually deflecting, directly through their asshole. I'm not going to start some "RISING SUN GLOWIES" rant, because I do know the moonie church has heavy ties to the South Korean "cia" or whatever the fuck they call it there. So I wouldn't be suprised at the tactics, but deff the motive. The monies are an easy, fringe target if someone were looking to pass blame.

Besides that, the majority party in Japan (abe's party) won a landslide election days after the assassination. Considering the stakes of what could potentially be on the table for the majority rule, it's crazy to me that someone who has it out for your party, would decide to kill their Jesus figure days away from a major election. Either the killer is retarded (which I doubt, he made his own boomstick), or someone is putting their thumb on the scale of public sentiment, for whatever reason.

Yeah, winning an election, getting the supermajority after the assassination of a former leader. Could we said how convenient?
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but weren't they favored to win heavily? That's the part that doesn't vibe with me. Is offing a political heavy weight like Abe worth a few more seats in an already majority? Keep in mind, I have no fucking clue how the Japanese do their government.

It's complicated and involves a lot of Mechas.

Edit: Source: I've seen an anime once.

More seats = no need to make deals for other parties or prevent a coalition of sorts forming. On top of it, since they now have a supermajority and a matyr, they can now use that to push any legislation they want

Apparently Abe's, party has won a supermajority.

Which is enough to get rid of the pacification clause and bring back the land of the rising sun.
Well China will use this as an excuse to escalate in the region, Japan will use the excuse to use their turn key approach to nuclear weapons, especially since God only knows how many people are death cultist in their government (are mooneis a death cult I get mixed messages on that?), and then we'll have another reason to stay up at night. Or am I paranoid?

I refuse to believe either of you. My Animes would not lie to me.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=ebPd26u9n-AMy 4 year plan is to move to Tokyo where I'll learn the language by working at McDonalds. Then once I'm acclimated to the environment I'll find a job at either Nintendo or Studio Ghibli and become an idea guy like my idol Hideo Kojima.
Change Studio Ghibli to "become a voice actor" and you have what a depressingly large sector of gen-z considers "an ideal life".
"We might have called ourselves the Liberal Party." - Adolf Hitler, 1923
Socialist National Worker's party, which is absurdly ironic when you consider what his admirers believe in today.

You get that the "gun" used on Abe was basically two pipe bombs with one side open to launch the shrapnel out in a general "fuck these guys in particular" direction, right?
A bullet is just a bomb with an opening on one side, stop being intentionally autistic. The gun that the shooter used was more complex than "muh 9-volt firecracker ignition"

Moonies are more like a sex cult. I'm not joking; lookup their founders personal doings, and the ritual he designed for his members to consummate their marriage. It's an ingenious cult that convinces strangers to wed, and have baby's in mass; the members don't even get to pick their partners.

The liberal democratic party is liberal democratic in name only. They are in actuality a super conservative party and they just swept the national elections.
In non globohomo speak they're very liberal when it comes to the issues in their country. A super conservative in Japan would want to bring back the Shogunate

Shinzo's party won supermajority as I predicted and Japan is bringing back its military.

Shinzo won in the end

damn, this is awful.
shinzo abe seemed like a good guy, and a decent person (even for a politician).
RIP, and may his assasin get whats coming for him.
