don't they look awfully similar? gee... wonder if waid is writing responses and his lawyers are just there to clean it up for filing.

The opening of at least one deposition states everyone present and that Waid and Zaid were teleconferenced.

I think you got it backward, hoss. Even LanDUI wrote his own filings despite them being so bad we thought there was no way a lawyer could have written them.

there is such a thing as exception to the rule.

and if the language between the two weren't so similar, i'd have just assumed that this dude was him 2.0. but the striking similarity in what I can only describe as the tone is deafening.

I finished Meyer's video on the Aids Team response. He seems convinced the TCPA motion will last until next year. They have 60 14 days(forgot this was a stipulation of the extension) to file a TCPA motion after the court rules that yes this case needs to be :intexas:, 60 to 90 for a hearing, and another 60 for a ruling. What am I missing that brings this into next year?

If he doesn't like SJWs, he needs to be honest and forthright with this.

They won't fucking forgive him. He published RAGS and Wall Might. He, and his studio, are already on their shit list. Hell, I'm surprised they haven't gone after him for Gold Digger, but the Gold Digger artist is a based as fuck Black guy so they might be at least slightly immune.

His best way out of this? Spill his guts. Do whatever he can to make sure Waid goes down for this. Then work with Ya Boy Zack to publish Jawbreakers, if he can work something out with him.

They're going to make him the "ComicsGate publisher." He needs to embrace it now, rather than after they've forced it upon him in the form of a bludgeon.

I think it's because this has always worked in the past. Someone you don't like says something you regard as offensive online? Dogpile them, call their job, make a fuss, get them fired, punish them.

That's been working for a few years now. The first tide was probably James Gunn, where someone they like had the exact same moves pulled on him and a number of keyboard warriors were explicit in saying 'You can't do that! That's our thing!' And now with this case and the KickVic case, they can't get past the denial stage. It's standard SJWness - 'Your words online are permanently linked to you, your livelihood and your family. My words online are just me letting off steam, fighting the good fight, and shouldn't have any real world repercussions for me.'

The amount of 'rules for thee but not for me' coming from these people is, honestly, staggering.

This is Ben Dunn, he used to own AP until selling it to his brother Joeming, the current owner. It's really sad, because AP could have become the comic stores publisher for CG and made a thousands of dollars in the process and might have pulled AP out of the financial hole they are in (Joeming stated he put $70k of his own money into the business in 2017? and Tim Lim's books had saved his arse. Now CG doesn't really want to work with them and rumor has it that EVS is trying to get Dynamite to publish store versions of at least his book and probably others.

I also edited the previous post as i found numbers for warrior nun Ben mentions and comparisons to today.

Unfortunately for them, although a fitting reward for their cuckoldry, they are still on the shit list of the SJWs but nobody is ever going to trust them again. They breach their contracts. Who would trust their book to such unreliable actors?

They cucked themselves to Mark Waid, who is an alpha nerd who is one of the head honchos of Marvel. The same Marvel that is keeping the Antarctic Press studios lights on by renting out studio space in the Antartic Press building, or somesuch.

Yes, that means that Mark Waid either directly or indirectly used Marvel's influence over AP to force them to break their contract. AP flat out states this during deposition when they state they were worried for "their friends at Marvel." Those friends at Marvel were using AP's building to do color work for Marvel.

If Meyer was going through Ty Beard, Marvel would probably be getting a letter in the next few weeks.
