Capcom potentially keeping Jill subjectively unattractive would be the least of my concerns.

I'd be more worried about Capcom retroactively assassinating Chris' character further. They already did as much with Leon in that Netflix CGI show, and they seem to have been intent on making Chris increasingly retarded ever since RE5 and onwardards

Jill Valentine looks fine in R3make . They turned her into an italian looking brunette. Its fine.

Sorry I might have nigger genes that prevent me from putting some effort in.

Oh yeah, I mean REmake is one of, and probably the best Resident Evil game ever made. It doesn’t need a remake because it aged incredibly well. And they would probably use that ugly ass face for Jill from r3make.
It's not even just her face. She's very unfeminine body wise. I'm a Voth simp I'll admit, but they made her body (more apparent in the Nemesis alt outfit) athletic while still looking feminine.

I remember playing the vanilla GC version when it came out and messed with this outfit the first time and noticed how damn hippy and booby she is.

Face scanning is ruining games. At least with RE where half of them look like bad scans, or they based them off ugly people. Claire looks good in reality and I thought she looked bad in game.
I like the backtracking being a pain in the ass. If you dont save the fire extinguisher or go back to the prison you miss a lot lol. I like punishing players. Not all that handholding BS.
I dont know which engine was used but the fixed yet movement tracking camera was in Parasite Eve and Dino Crisis too.
That magnum sidequest is dumb, and I'll never think otherwise. But it goes beyond that for me. The whole blue medal thing during the Chris section and the shotgun stairway I find very tedious and not fun. The whole Albinoid sidequest is such a non event when you don't even need to fight it after all the build up to it.

Don't get me wrong, backtracking in the bread and butter of most of the series but it needs to be done in such a way that it feels good to explore areas that were already within your vicinity earlier in the game.

Don't forget the handgun upgrades.

I honestly forgot the Albanoid even existed.

R3make Jill looks like a woman to me. Clair's face is uncanny valley tier tho. Face scanning is great in some cases. Quiet in MGS5 is properly scanned.

I don't really like her face though. Funnily enough, Kojima reused the same actress for two characters in Death Stranding (the characters are twins) and they looked much better in that game, and closer to the actual actress's face.
It could just be growing pains with the tech then. 5 years ago everybody hated CHI in anime and nobody thought AI could replace the hordes of smut artists on the internet and now look at where we are.

The M93R upgrade is fine but the one for Chris's glock is entirely useless. If you properly prepare for his part of the game you never even use it.

Boss fights in CV are generally terrible, but Nosferatu is fine. I like that it's different and you can take him out with the rifle once you understand his movement pattern. Locking weapons into that fight stinks, although Chris does get everything he needs in his half.

I don't know who possibly survived plane tyrant and monster Steve in one go their first playthrough. I'm perfectly fine with tough bosses but these two are entirely dependent on knowing what you need to bring with you into the fight. It's in the player's nature to think you need to pound plane tyrant with everything when you can just keep smashing him with the box, but you wouldn't know to do that until you got experience.

Suffice it to say I always thought CV had really weird and bad scenario design. I've always gone back and forth between that and Zero (for very different reasons) on what I thought was the worst one of the tank controlled games. They both have strengths and weaknesses but it can be one over the other and then switched on any given day with me.

I’m emulating Resident Evil Dead Aim and I’m actually enjoying it quite a bit. It’s not great like RE1R, or RE3, or RE4, but it’s a fun time. Decent resident evil game and much better than Survivor.

CV always felt like Capcom trying too hard to up the difficulty in their games; but instead of being something that's actually hard, it's gimmicky shit that no one falls for once they got the trick down. The Tyrant Plane Fight, sniping Nosferatu, running (without tanking the damage) from Mutate Steve, etc. It felt like there was no leadership oversight, and someone on the project would look at something and be like "That isn't hard enough," then implement their own brand of retardation. I wouldn't say it's bad, as much as, like you said, bad scenario design.

The problem I had with 0 is how you have two characters; but all except the final boss find a way to force you into a 1v1 scenario. Granted, the final boss is just Rebecca running to the switches while you distract it; but they could've done more with two characters, even if one is just AI controlled. Instead only one goes to the Scorpion, Rebecca is kidnapped by the Centipede, one is literally locked outside of the Church for the Bat fight. Then finally, Billy fights the Leech while Rebecca opens the ceiling. You have two characters; you even give them different stats and shit for puzzles and combat... fucking use both of them.

That's like, the most minor problem that game had.

One of my two major complaints with the game is item management; it's nice they finally let us just drop shit on the ground, but even then, it could've been better. The other is how you need to use Rebecca's Chemistry Kit to combine some of the gasses to make the correct combination for a storyline puzzle; and IIRC, very little hinting about it. Sure it's not a strong game, but not something that has me hating it... could just be my autism though.

Dropping things on the ground wouldn't even be that big of a deal if they just put in a damn item box.

Also, fuck Eliminators. Worst enemy RE ever introduced.

And Rebecca's like a completely different character in this game than she is in any other appearance, where she's scared to death of zombies and not even combat capable.

Zero's issues are way beyond the two character mechanic.

The majority of the enemies are just bigger things of smaller things. Very uninspired. The Centurion is just a shitty Yawn clone. The plague crawlers, the stinger, eliminators and the bat are all terrible. And the bat is arguably the worst boss fight of the series besides the non event albinoid.

I did like Proto Tyrant and I like it more than T-002 since it's busted and unfinished. It's just it's round 2 is dull.

The enemies are poorly programmed too. Leech man and the eliminators can just tank shotgun shells which little or no knock back.

Zombies are barely utilized in it. They've been demoted to like RE1 level of threat. And this is coming right off REmake where they were semi bullet sponges and would reanimate as Crimson Heads.

The Training Facility is a wish.com version of the Spencer Mansion.

Having two handed weapons eat up two slots is just silly. Although it's been done in the past, it was done in RE2 and you were possibly given ten slots for one person.

The massive plot holes of Enrico somehow going from the forest miles away and ending up in the RE2 train elevator? The geography is all over the place in it. Like how the TF is somehow attached to the Birkin lab doesn't make any sense at all when you took the tram from the church to get there AWAY from the TF. I know it's just a quick route gameplay mechanic to go back and pickup any remaining items but they didn't even try to hide it.

The whole Marcus is Sephiroth thing. I hated the idea he's behind the Mansion lab leak. I much prefer it being unexplained, or it just being a mistake.

I don't mind the no item box thing but it's an imperfect system if two items are too close together and you pick up the wrong thing.

Although I do think the art direction in it is nearly as good as REmake and there's some really nice BGM.

Capcom didn't make CV so that probably explains a lot of it.

You can save; it's just they're also tied in with First-Aid Sprays. IIRC, one FAS is equivalent to 3 saves; and you can either save up to 6 times, or use 2 FAS. But anything more will result in a rank drop.
I looked on GameFAGS and couldnt' find a clear answer so I figured I would just no save it. I used zero sprays too. It was one of the least injured runs I ever did. I wasn't going for a PR or anything. My time is inaccurate since Sourcenext allows doorskip. So my real time is probably 1:50 or something.
