r/coaxedintoasnafu, a subreddit for poorly drawn MS Paint comics that has since become a leftist echo chamber, saw one of its moderators have a meltdown after some users who had wrongfully assumed it was simply a meme page, questioned the morality of posting DIY HRT guides aimed at minors disguised as memes. The moderation team has also threatened to ban anyone who isn't a radical leftist and they have also revised their rules to address the chud problem.

There, now the rest of you have literally no reason to subject yourself to the subreddit since I explained it, unless you enjoy painful cringe.

I remember this subreddit being relatively sane compared to the rest of the site. Like actually being critical of reddit and expressing opinions that aren't allowed in the site.
But alas, we all know the fate of subreddits that don't toe the line.
This has me slightly foxed. It's not totally unknown for a father to get child support (he's a farmhand, she's a lawyer, they share custody 50/50) but I'm struggling to see how AI would affect a basic-but-honest manual job.

This reddit post causes what I call "trickle down transphobia"
Nobody was thinking about trannies
Nobody was doing any harmful things toward trannies
Somebody maybe might have suggested to tone down peddling drugs to kids
We get a pinned post with zero context, that is written by a Maximally Trans individual advocating insane ideas like trans women are literally biological women and minors should be receiving hormones brewed in a witch's cauldron, and instead of taking an opportunity to go "hey, maybe this is a bit much for people that are not in the trans community," all of the users immediately leap toward full throated support like actual robots.
Effectively one reddit mod has caused the loss of like 400 points of izzat for the trans community toward any normal person that reads the post
It's crazy how every dudebro who speaks of this goes "just start your own AI business bro it's so easy", as if given the chance, everyone would want to be their own boss, work twice as many hours a day and earn slightly more.
Most of us just want to drone at work and go home, leave the stress to superiors who make 30% more for the 90% stress gain.

If theyre outside the US a lot of countries send all parents a monthly sum of free government cash till the kid is 18 (about equal to the tax break to parents in the US) which is also usually called something like child support, maybe theyre a britbong?
To be fair there is some truth to it. Historically, ADHD/Autism was mostly about boys and keeping them in check because their disruption is more..., well, disruptive. Meanwhile girls' brain develop faster (11 year old girl have same brain as 12 year old boy) and rarely chimp around like boys, so their problems are often masked and because of that overlooked.
However, I would imagine that it stopped being true maybe like 10-15 years ago and now women more overdiagnosed than ever.
