I only know how to mess with the older firmwares and older 3ds models(I use a 9.2 firmware 2DS, that is seperate from my main n3DS). All I know is that it'd be a hell of a lot of work to mod a most current firmware n3DS. I do know it involves a very small chance of bricking your system if you mess up really badly, your best best would be to go to GBAtemp and Project Pokemon for the best advice for that kind of thing.
In other news I have 99/100 Zygarde cells/cores and I for the life of me cannot figure out the one I missed, I really want to mess around with Complete Forme Zygarde

Figured I'd put in here that there's been reports of a game breaking bug in Sun and Moon. It's rare, but there's a chance if you save inside the Poke'mon Center, turning it back on will result in your character being completely invisible or somehow stuck behind Nurse Joy and you can't get out from there. Only way to fix it would be to wait for a patch or restart your game completely.

What's everyone's favorite new Pokemon? I love all of the designs and I can probably safely say that this is my favorite gen now.
My absolute favorite is Golisopod, and I really like Toucannon and the Alolan Muk. I also have to say that this is the first time that I've actually really liked my starter, and the others are really cool. I chose Litten and now I've got an extremely loyal Incineroar. I usually don't care too much for the starters but big buff kitty man is such a cutie pie.

Also, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate how Team Skull is basically a deconstruction of evil teams and the Pokemon world as a whole. It's said that Team Skull is mostly made up of kids and teenagers from broken/shitty homes who failed the Island Challenge and had nowhere else to go. In every other game the evil team grunts were just cannon fodder you didn't think twice about, but Team Skull grunts are actually pretty sympathetic.
And I haven't gotten that far myself, but apparently in the postgame you can visit Guzma's childhood home and it's heavily implied that his father abused him as a child. So basically, it's implied that Guzma grew up in an abusive home, ran away, tried the Island Challenge, failed it, had nowhere to go, and then started Team Skull so that other failures and misfits would have a place to belong to. This actually explains Team Skull's behavior very well; they have no grand schemes like the other villainous teams and are just trying to steal enough stuff to survive. The Aether Foundation are the true villains of the story.

I love the designs of Kommo-o and Midnight Lycanroc and Mudsdale; it's hard for me to pick a real faovirte this generation, but right now Midnight!Lycanroc is my top favorite, not only for design but my own Kujo has put in serious work throughout my entire journey and I love him to bits for it.

I've started breeding my Decidueye to get Rowlet eggs; if anyone is interested in one, message me or comment on my profile! I'm looking to get starters and game-exclusives.
Once I'm done with the Rowlets I'll be working on getting some Drampa ready for trades as well if anyone is looking for one of those.
When you do talk to the father, he does say he tried to beat sense into his son but got beat instead, so there is also a chance Guzma fought back at one point after being tired of the abuse. If you step into the back room you'll also get to talk to Guzma's mom, who gives you Swagger and talks about how Guzma won a lot of trophies/competitions with a Poke'mon he taught Swagger, and you can see the tropes on a shelf behind her. Obviously Guzma had some sort of talent as a kid, and his mother seems nice, but perhaps his father was the douchenozzle and didn't agree with whatever Guzma was doing and fought with him over it.
And while the Aether Foundation in itself isn't evil, Lusamine most certainly is the twisted individual behind the bad shit that goes down. Once she's dealt with, the Aether Foundation isn't a threat to anyone and actually focuses on the goals it claimed to aim for; helping Poke'mon.

I'm mourning the loss of my SoulSilver cartridge. I can't find the damn thing anywhere, and I had a Shaymin and Jirachi on it.
At least I still have my Pearl, Diamond and White games. I intend to fulfill the 999 Pokemon needed to get a Mew from Pokemon Bank.

From scanning those codes in, plus the one suggested in the page before, I managed to get a Honedge on Akala Island with a Quick Ball on the first turn after using Island Scan.

My copy of Moon still hasn't shipped, and tomorrow is the earliest it was supposed to arrive in the given timeframe. Considering that today is Thanksgiving, I'm not going to hold my breath.

Apparently, you can hatch eggs much faster by riding on charging Taurus. Someone on Reddit said that they got an egg to hatch in one minute by using Tauros's charge on the straight path on route 6 with a Pokemon with Flame Body.

Earlier this morning, I got a shiny fucking Geodude. It's my first ever legitimate shiny that wasn't part of some event or part of the story or whatever, and I've been playing since Gen I.
Fuck family, this Thanksgiving I'm happy for my orange Geodude named Shiny.
On another note, Japanese people are weird, I got a Ditto from GTS in exchange for some trash Yongoose with a level in the single digits.
