I've had smooth sailing and now in Act 8 but servers are shitting themselves with queues happening. I've heard it was bad for EU since league-start and it's creeping into other servers now too

How has everyone's first week been? I've been too busy to go no life and invest in assets early so i just took it nice and slow.

Archmage Shock Nova feels very similar to Ice Nova of Frostbolts but on crack. I am using the Pledge of Hands version since I do not want an aneurysm trying to put spell suppression into my suffixes. Now that I have pretty much upgraded to the pre-late game version (Stormshroud, the jewel setup in the Scion area, and Purity of Lightning + Invert The Rules support + Runegraft of Treachery), I'm probably just gonna do some ore runs for shipping then farm either stacked decks (Cloister scarab) or Destructive Play into either a Mageblood or one of those extremely expensive shrine belts.

I'm 90 on Guardian Absolution monster, even with shit gear it progress nicely. Mostly focusing on Armor and Block as defenses, life + es combo.

Will transition into Doryiani Prototype later but I don't have that much time to play. Mostly focusing on Atlas completion and investing into Betrayal/Ritual and Kalguur.

For now grind continues, I'm on like 5 Div as of right now. Will try to 36/40 challenge this league as the rewards are quite nice in quality for new GGG.

Leaguestarted KBoC Necromancer in SSF since I love Kinetic Blast and I heard it was good last league (I didn't play last league). Probably the most fun to put together KB character I've played, much stronger than when I played Cold Frenzy Stacker KB Raider years ago lol. Also much easier to gear than the Fortification stacking Champion I played in 3.26 (had to farm Replica Badge and Replica Hyrri's Ire...).

Found the progression to be really fun! You start out in maps as lightning based until you get a cluster with Overwhelming Malice and then go full chaos damage. At around level 93 I started to get really tired of being Life/ES hybrid and having <5k chaos max hit, so I started gearing towards being CI. Currently sitting at >7k ES and working on maxing my block and spell block, as well as getting shit like Greater Fork and a good 7th link from the coins.

Good league, the richest I have ever been since I started playing in Mercenaries (but that is mostly attributed to the currency buff/inflation). I started out as evis gladiator and then pivoted to Grey Wind dual strike slayer.

edit: How long does it usually take you guys to get 4 stones?, I struggled hard this league to get the 4 stones (took me a week to get 3, will probably get the 4th this weekend), probably because I was playing a build I'm not experienced with, but seeing people get 4 stones in less than 10~12 hours made me feel like a total noob.

Unless you league-start a bosser or play in SSF, you do the ones you can easily do (usually quest Eater and Exarch) then you pay for carries for the others. With the specialized quadrant watchstones now, you probably only really need three watchstones and can skip the Uber Elder one unless you're farming invitations/frags related to them and Synth maps, or the layout you want is in that quadrant.

For most leagues, I've always tried to do the stones myself but I've realized that doing that just delays my progression for no good reason other than pride.

Don't compare your time to those people unless you really put in the time to get good at league start rushing. They put in a lot of time and effort to get that good at getting set up fast, and prep for league start so they never have to stop to do anything that will slow them down like figuring out gearing or pathing.

Personally, I make all my money outside of the atlas in the first few days, because I'm bad at atlas rushing and always burn out slogging through the early atlas when every mechanic sucks. I'll probably get my 4 stones this week or weekend then cash in my investments from opening weekend and respec

double post but idgaf, it's been two days.

Not the first Mageblood I've ever had, but my first I've actually gotten as a raw drop. ID'd right to 4 flasks too.

nice, congratz, my biggest drop this league so far was a foulborn red dream (the max health variant), which is funny because I bought that item before I naturally dropped it so I basically refunded my purchase.

Big grats! Got a build in mind that you want to play with that MB, or just keep blasting with RF? At least that looks like RF gear to me
My only t0 so far this league has been an Ephemeral Edge that I got while stocking up on scarabs *sigh*

Will ding to level 100 later today (Unstable Breaches + Beyond is OP), might consider some unique farming after that to see if I can get something that makes me want to swap to a new build. Otherwise I'll just keep incrementally upgrading the KBoC Necro 🫡

It's RF, yeah. I just wanted something different. I'm still on RF and upgrading my eHP. I'm gonna be swapping to a strength stacker later unless it's just way out of budget (looking at 100~200 div on top of the Mageblood). Probably a Kinetic Blast Zerker or Jugg for shits and giggles.

Fun blasting league, I went Minion Instability SRS of Enormity. With a perfect Tavukai and Infernal Legion it is fairly smooth. I could have used this to farm up a meta build but instead all investments are going back into SRS. Current dream item is a 1red5blue Skin of the Lords with Eldritch Battery.

The trick for the build is the Cluster Notable "Life from Death," which staggers SRS detonations and heals all my spectre and AG minions fast enough that I've literally never lost a spectre, and can run Guardian's Blessing on my AG for Haste. I'm also addicted to "The Traitor" Timeless Keystone, and all of this together nets me perpetual 110% move speed and an endlessly spammable life flask

Tested some unique farming strats this weekend! I started out with Breach + Beyond in Dunes map, and while it did give me a lot of uniques, most of them were between t5 and t3, with a few t2, and rarely some t1s. It gave a lot of currency too, but maps took quite a while to clear (and loot, lol), even with my KBoC build. People in the SSF global chat (/global 773, very nice chat to be in even if you're not SSF) recently started discussing some Exile strat, which I decided to try. You run:
2x Anarchy Scarab of the Exceptional
1x Titanic Scarab
1x Titanic Scarab of Legends
1x Scarab of your choice (I run Domination Scarab)
You max out rarity, map effect and pack size on your atlas tree, and fully spec into Exiles (except for Rogue Trader, which makes them way too tanky and difficult).
You roll tier 16.5 maps (memory influenced) for ~150%+ item rarity and mods that won't make you just fall over and die. I run Haunted Mansion because the Mirage coverage is pretty good.
You hope for the Exceptional Exile to convert all of their loot to unique items, and then hope for t1s and t0s!

Mind you this strat is VERY rippy. Some maps you just get fucked over and there's a basically unkillable Exile (the Tornado Shot exile usually gives me trouble, or most of them with Soul Eater). In around 25-30 maps of this I've gotten 2 t0s (Bino's Kitchen Knife and Voltaxic Rift), no clue if that's lucky or not because there's only a few people running it in SSF global (and I don't check reddit so no clue if this is common knowledge), but almost all of those people have gotten multiple t0s.

Edit: The very next map after I made this post I run into this Exile, who I could not even get to 95% health. Since I'm a crit chaos build I deal basically negative damage to this guy

Finally!, I've been trying to get the challenge sets for 2 leagues now and was finally able to 36/40 this league.
I think I'm done for a while, maybe will try a new build or smth later in the league or just wait for poe2 0.5.
It's been a GRIND, GG
here's my character that I ended with if you care.
Grey wind life stacking has been really fun to build but I kinda got stuck at the end on how to upgrade him with out spending mirrors.
Dual strike on the other hand isn't really a fun skill, just a glorified default attack imo.

JENEBU IS BANNED, TFT IS NO MORE!

He's also suicide-baiting like a bitch:
bjj6niopubrg1.webp
LMAO:
2owakgujobrg1.webp

For those unaware, he is a manchild who bans people from his services/server for pissing him off (reacting with a clown emoji on his discord posts is enough reason), refusing to sell something to him (pre-async), or even just wanting to remove your own mirror item from their store (which you have all the right to do). He also probably profits off of RMT from the TFT mirror shop so he can no longer pay the bills in his third-world country. Get fucked and I hope we no longer have a manchild running the next big hub for third-party services

Was there a reason given as to why he was banned or did they just get tired of his shit?
I never used tft but I wonder how (if any) the impact would be to trading and the economy

GGG doesn't usually share that kind of information. Speculation is that they got enough proof to concretely tie him to RMT, but that's just people guessing.

Actual impact is gonna be pretty minimal because async trade and currency exchange have already had a huge impact. The main things that will be affected are bulk scarab and beast sales, 5 way carries, and maybe gold rotas. Scarab and Beast bulk trades already have other tools available, people just don't use them right now because they prefer TFT.
