Posting Jenebu's/TFT meltdown here because it's one of the most hilarious things I've read this month.

For those who don't know me, I am the owner of the server.

My account got banned this morning completely all of a sudden, without any prior warning or any message from anyone.

I'm sure many people are happy that I got banned, and I know I'm not liked by everyone, but I built this server from the ground up in 2019, I dedicated my life to this game and built a community for it, I built free tools for everyone to use, and as an individual a built a shop to service mirror items.

The implications of my ban are massive in terms of how many people it affects, I cant even begin to describe it and how many people it affects.

I am in the worst possible mental state a person could be now, and I really hope this message can reach someone at GGG to overthink it. Why do it? Why destroy so much? This is a 700k people server dedicated for this game, and my account hosts more than 1500 items, some of which cant ever be recreated. This permanently destroys PoE 1 Standard and this server. This could have been solved with simple talking. This server and shop are my life. I am a clinically depressed person who dedicated his life to POE for 8 years and now its all over? Just like that?

Please put yourself in my shoes, no matter how much you dislike me or wanted me to fail. If it happened to me, imagine dedicating so many years of your life to something and then have it just destroyed in a matter of seconds because someone decided to ban you?

Please, if this reaches anyone in GGG please reconsider this, this can be solved without needing to create all this damage.

This is the worst day of my life, and honestly I don't want to live anymore. Please reconsider this and talk to me.

I'll also add that I am getting really cold responses from GGG and they aren't willing to look into it anymore, if anyone here has any way of helping me please contact me, my life is a complete ruin now, over some arbitary edcision that could be anything. I know I sound desperate but I am, this is my life project going to waste, it feels like death. They said I can make a new account but the account is what matters, I am never making a new account. This account holds 8+ years of PoE legacy and everything thousands of people invested years into, it's also their passion, this is the reason they even play this game. What's the point of the game if you ban someone who actively tries to make the game better for everyone? This is my passion, it feels like a knife in the neck, I can't be indifferent about it and just accept it.

The future of this server also depends on it, this would just bring death to this game and to Standard in PoE 1, it would make hundreds if not more people quit and stop playing. Why is all this effort going to waste? Why would you even play this game for the long term if one day you'll wake up with all of it destroyed? I have been doing all I can to keep my account secure to prevent hacks, but in the end its GGG who just nukes everything?

This isn't about rules, it's about the big picture. Does the fact I have done so much for this game mean absolutely nothing? despite some people disliking me, I have spent 16 hours per day for 8 years straight building around this game because it's my passion. Why take it from me? Why not try to talk through it and fix what needs to be fixed? Why can't I even talk to anyone and just get robotic messages back? I get that they made a decision, but decisions are made by people, and this is a very severe and serious case that has to be reconsidered for the sake of many people, not just me.

TFT is basically one of the largest fan bases for this game, we never attacked the game or company publicly, its decisions, its policies, even when everyone else did. We just focused on our passion for the game and improve where we can, and always tried to improve.

Even personally, I've been working on many free tools like the PoB Viewer for hundreds of hours just purely out of passion and not wanting to gain anything from it.

To my haters I say, I get why you hate or hated me, I truly deserved it because I was a horrible person and shouldn't have acted like I did many times, I tried to improve in the past 2 years and learn from mistakes, and been mostly keeping to myself. But despite you hating or liking me, please don't take away from all the hours I poured my heart and soul into this game and system.

I can't sit idle when my life is falling apart. To anyone covering this, try to put yourself in my position, like really try to do it, how would you feel? what would you do if you got banned? this isn't just a poe account banned, this is my entire motivation around this game, around this passion. They take everything from me in a single click and decide it's not appealable because they decided that I broke the rules hence I deserve no second chance. Maybe the ban policy is too strict then? What about seeing the big picture and trying to solve something instead of break everything.

Please, whoever at GGG deciding this, please let's talk through it and come for a solution so this wouldn't have to be the death of TFT, permanently, and my life.

I get hundreds of people dming me with messages, some of them encouraging, some are straight out telling me to kill myself, Is this what you want me to do GGG? have you not thought how mentally these bans affect people? is this a plan to just end me and all my efforts in this game? just click on ban and boom person deleted? I am a father of 2 kids, one a 6 month old daughter and a 8 year old son, I am a clinically depressed person who you just killed even more. How do you expect me to move forward after this? I dedicated my life to YOUR game, giving more players reasons to play it, even to support it. Why do you just make these crazy decisions that have so much collateral damage?

If anyone has any sympathy for me, and doesn't want to see a person who has given EVERYTHING in their life, and sacrificed my entire life for this game, please help me in any way you can, whether contacting support and state your issues with it. I just can't let this go, please I beg you try and help me if you can.

Please if anyone has any contacts and any way to reach anyone responsible for the ban, please let's try to resolve this, even temporarily, please talk to me and we can find common ground. I have never had ill intent for the game and always wanted it to grow and succeed, I want to keep my poe passion alive, don't take this from me. I am willing to discuss anything about anything just please let's try to overturn it for a positive instead of a nuclear negative.

Also he said he's going to delete the server soon so this is the time to ss everything funny.

I'm part of Echo (just the guild, not sweaty enough to join the mirror crafting squad) and I'm pretty sure half of the mirror team don't sleep on league-start and immediately start investing days 1-3, lol. It does look like GGG finally found enough proof of him RMT-ing.

It's comedy gold that he thought he could cry and immediately get asspats from the TFT server when 99% of the people in it hate his guts and just find other options less convenient. Even the streamer Spicysushi who runs probably the 3rd biggest mirror team around (the Settle shop) is dancing on his grave:

You should've seen that Belton drama from years ago where parts of his mirror team would leave and form the Echo team. TL;DR of the dumb part is that one of them had time off from crafting because his wife was hospitalized, Belton Paypal-ed him some money as a get-well-soon gift for him to get a meal with his wife once she's well, and when shit fell through, Belton threatened the same wife because of the crafting shit.

EDIT: He also might be a 3rd-worlder who lives off of RMT which is somehow just as pathetic.

It is done, TFT is no more for now. Jenebu backstabbed his mods and nuked the server.

His mods have cloned the server and have full control of the tools. They are planning on running TFT without him.

Just to be safe, go to your POE account settings -> Manage applications and unlink all of them connected to TFT. Do the same for your Discord account.

Also, it's ironic that his mod(s) are airing him out on the Echo server of all places.

EDIT: I will add that there is a high chance the server doesn't stay up despite his efforts because the anarchy has let many Discord TOS violations get posted on it.
 
Hello newbie, good luck. PoE is a great arpg, but you need to seriously make the decision and invest the time to "learn" the game mechanics. Don't stop asking questions, watching videos and reading some of the written guides.
It might be overwhelming at first, bit I promise you it gets easier and more fun.

Yeah I've got lots of stuff to learn still. Currently got 4 stones and grinding divines
 
I enjoyed the Mirage mechanic, can see how it will easily slot into standard league, but I'm so tired of running through the acts, I've already done so a dozen times. Literally the only reason I run new leagues now is if they include hideout decor.
Hopefully the reworked Harbingers will be fun when they drop.

Stubbornness of GGG to continue making everyone run campaign on every single character is amusing. It doesn't take that long even playing casually but fuck me I never look forward to it and usually do only one character.
 
Even blizzard figured it out over a decade ago with adventure mode. I haven't played PoE in years and truth be told it's solely because of having to play through the campaign (that and coming back to a character months later after not playing for a while and seeing that it's now totally obsolete because ggg are Indian givers). Did they ever touch on whether or not they'll go a different route in the future or is it 10 acts until the end of time?

I think before PoE2 there was something mentioned along the lines of an alternative route.

They briefly considered if Delve could be an alternative. This was before it was made core and the starting depth level was raised to match when you meet Niko now.

PoE2 was originally going to be the same game, so it would have given people an alternative campaign to do, then GGG split it into its own product
