If you compare the mod names listed here (located at the bottom) for the pride 2017 event and then the list here for 2022

You see the only mods that are repeated are:
Archie
Ash
Ed
John C
Kieren
Roq
Ry
West
Wolf

I feel like this started in 2017 because it either came from the top they needed to try this and see the crowds reaction, or someone in this list made the suggestion that it was current year and that “well you do Easter/Halloween/Christmas why can’t we do a pride event”

Part feels like it came from the top down because Mod Mat K (who was there during the 2017 event) was defending or more so not going into why it wasn’t getting polled.

matk has said on multiple occasions that the 2017 pride riots weren't organic and were raids by external websites/groups. that's clearly fucking bullshit, he says he's seen the data but he's obviously lying because nobody who was playing at the time wanted anything to do with that shit. however, he's married to a woman and has kids, so even if he runs defence for this shit i don't think he's the originator.
if it's not from the top, it's absolutely mod roq. and even if it is from the top, roq seems to be the main driving force of it from the actual dev team. wolf cancelled his planned projects out of spite due to the response to the 2017 pride riots, and then obviously started looking for another job straight away because he basically dropped out of the public eye, stopped appearing on q&as, and then quit. mod wolf left jagex in september 2019, "wolfy" is a different person and from the looks of it a woman? https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Mod_Wolfy. johnc i couldn't get a read on, i think he's just autistic as fuck. apparently he's gone now too. ry seems kind of fruity but honestly i think he's just autistic as fuck too. seems to mostly keep out of the public eye. the rest i can't see as being fags and some are even married to women. roq is the only one that comes off as a faggot to me and as i've said he's always organising, pushing, and promoting this shit and he's still at jagex

They usually drag their feet on any engine work, but when it comes to trooning the game up, they get right to it. Their in house launcher is such a broken piece of shit that you are putting yourself at a disadvantage by using it. They are willing to take down high effort creative projects like OSRS HD because they might eventually get around to it, but they'll expend dev resources on this shit.
I know I'm probably preaching to the choir here, but if you are still paying this company after all they have pulled, you are a sucker, especially if you have an old account and a long membership streak. Once they start bleeding their loyal customers, maybe they'll notice that the only people sticking around are bleeding out of their axe wounds, and all they do is buy bonds while playing all day because they are unemployable. The thing that gets me about this if Mod Ash is the one that's supporting the tranny shit, is that he is a Catholic and I've seen old posts from him showing him at church and such. I feel he'd be the one guy at Fagex not willing to support it, unless he's being forced into it for the sake of his employment or some other gay reason.
